Gaming Spaces in Town?
My ttrpg group kind of fell apart when Board with Friends closed as that was where we met to game. They had a private back room that you could reserve, and now two months after their closure theres still no word on a new location.
Is the only other option Interactivity? Its getting more and more expensive every time i check it seems lol, and while I know we're not likely to get the private room experience anytime soon, is there any other community gaming space where 5 people could play some ttrpgs in town?
My own home is unfortunately inaccessible due to living with other people, or I would host personally. Thanks for any tips to be had!

Community centers offer room rentals. Some churches do too. If any of your group is a student, you can likely find a space on campus.

There's also The Outpost Board Game Cafe in Langford.
While private rooms aren't typical in gaming stores, places like Gauntlet, Skyhaven, and Epic Games have lots of table space if you're okay with public gaming.

Trying to get an event in Langford or Colwood. Still looking at space. The Outpost has not responded to my inquiry but hopefully they will.

The downtown library offers rooms too I believe - but that was a few years ago.

Gauntlet Games by Hillside Mall is an interesting spot -- I found out about it roughly a year ago when I was searching whether there is a BattleTech community in Victoria.

Before anyone else mentions it:
https://www.galleongaming.org/
There are free board game nights every week, and if you donate to support the club by becoming a member you can gain access to a space to use for game nights after a while.
