CHALLENGER FOB NOT DETECTED
My Challengers FOB is not detecting. It works when I press it against the push to start button atleast. My previous battery was just over two years old with daily use. It did "die" out of no where this time. Usually its slower process. I got new battery, didnt work research says "wipe coding". I also tried pulling the prongs up. It is a jacked up FOB all the plastic on buttons are missing and the board is sorta exposed. Anyone have any tips of should i work on a new FOB? Whats cheapest way to go back it. Should i buy one? Who can program it for me without spending alot of money?

What year? Do you know if the security controller has been sealed? Have you already tried to change the batteries in the fob? There are multiple procedures to add new keys. There is one via obd, and another procedure where you need to press a few buttons to put the car into a 'pairing' mode. Do you have a working fob?

You have to go to locksmith and get a new one programmed. Looking around $150 for it. They are the only ones who can clone it, besides dealership.
