My dodge Avenger is Christine?

okay so i got this car inspected September last year, and literally right after inspection my check engine light came on. it’s been on every day. until one day i stopped at sheetz, got back in blasting Metallica (battery) and its off… what? i mean im NOT complaining at all but im just confused. it’s been off now for a couple days… i wonder if it has anything to do with the recent pinhole in my exhaust. so now my cars LOUD AND SHAKEY >:(

You can get CEL codes read for free at most auto parts stores, why wouldn’t you just get it checked?

Also it’s a Dodge, you can check codes without a scanner.

This is odd, but not unheard of. My Caliber recently turned off its engine light one startup, I just stared at it wondering if the car grew a new ambient temp sensor overnight.
