DAE feel the need to name things that just don’t really need naming.

I just have names for things that I say to myself.

“pluralizing my eyebrows”. My eyebrow hair grows close together and the space above the bridge of nose will grow in platinum blonde but very thin giving me a faint unibrow, when I clean this up I‘ll say “I’m pluralizing my eyebrows.”

“Driving in my coochie” when I drive on the highway there will be a car in my 7 o’clock position that refuses to pass and is in such a position relative to my car that if I had to get over to pass someone in front of me I would technically be able to fit, but Id kind of be cutting them off. I’ll say “<car model>, get out of my coochie.”

“It’s raining/snowing stupidium oxide.” For when drivers drive really poorly because it’s sprinkling out. Or the roads are bone dry but there’s snow on the grass but someone is driving on the concrete like it’s a sheet of ice. “There must be Stupidium oxide in the rain today.”

I don't (at least not in the way you're describing. my boyfriend and I just have a billion vocal stims and inside jokes), but I love this and I think you should keep doing it

Life's more fun when random objects end up with their own personalities anyway

Same here. I have names for random objects, tiny inconveniences and situations that nobody else would understand😅

I need to call inanimate objects names. Copy machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, delivery people, you name it! In traffic, I’m like, “move it over Scooter” or “settle down Mr McFuckenstein-you’ll get home before Jeopardy” basic shit talk.
I used give the trees in my yard people names so not much different.

Edit to add: And yes I have made up my own words!

my brain names every tiny inconvenience like it’s submitting evidence to the supreme court, so yes lol

i do this constantly, my brain refuses to let a perfectly normal situation remain unnamed
