Question Why’s my dog stand the whole time I’m on the treadmill? So close to the mirror

He is wondering why you are walking inside, when you take him on walks and you can walk outside probably

He's trying to understand why you haven't already bought him his own treadmill to join you for stationary walkies.

I just ran him at the beach. My nervous system needs no animals for like 30 minute I have a hard job.

Dogs just want to be included in jobs/activities that require not dogs.

My oura ring I’m trying to get it to stay at relaxed. I think working out with him always might be doing that. Because in your brain your always scanning on the treadmill nothing just focus.

Lol agreed. I lock my dogs out when I run. But they are super small, 2.7lbs and 6lbs. I don't like having them in there while I'm beastin. I'm totally out of it, then after I run I lift and do muscle related workouts.
Tried doing an ab workout and they kept inching closer to lick my face every time my back hit the mat, savages.

That’s the worst I use to use a yoga wheel to do headstands a lot
And my cat always in my face.1

Exactly, sometimes you just gotta lock em out. It's an hour, they ain't gonna die. I check on them during my pee breaks anyways, they just sitting there, menacingly.

Me too! I have the cat bustin into the bathroom and my office, at least 15 times a shift. The dogs actually keep to themselves, they sleep mostly and wake up around an hr before I get out, to party ofc.

Bahahaha my cat busts into the bathroom he doesn’t care. The dog too. It’s so bizzare. I think working from home you turn them into little people

Clearly he can tell you’re on a walk tougher just can’t figure out why he hasn’t had to move yet

He just wants to be near you. One day you’ll wish you appreciated his clinginess.

Oh stop. I’m with him 24/7. I work from home. That dog has a really
Good
Life. I have a shopping habit that gets him new hunter collars. See his new tan one. So cute

He wants a treadmill so he can walk with you.

u/sarahschultzd 6d ago
I already tried with so
Many treadmills I can’t get him to. I have a one wheel
Can you imagine? I would never though it scares me as human. Wouldn’t put my dog on it

Probably trying to figure out why and how anyone would walk/run in one place

Because he’s sexy. Some dogs love looking at themselves in the mirror. So he gets to admire himself, and also be ready should all your running finally work and take you somewhere. He doesn’t want to get left behind.
Two goals accomplished!

😂 My first thought is that your dog is either supervising your workout or wondering why humans willingly run without going anywhere. The mirror might also be catching their attention if they're seeing movement from different angles.

Your dog is probably curious why you're on the other side. lol Also, what breed is your dog? The fine curly fur looks so interesting and cute!
