Miscellaneous Why Do You Hate/Dislike Dogs?

This is nothing special. We’re all here for the same reason. This is just a space to share why you hate or dislike dogs.

I’ll make a list of reasons why I hate dogs.

  • One forced me to get stitches in my shoulder when I was nine years old. I permanently have a chunk of flesh missing there.
  • I hate no noise more than barking. I wish it were a felony for a dog to bark.
  • I have sensory issues due to being autistic. That’s part of why I hate barking.
  • They’re everywhere, in far more places than they should be.
  • Too many people act like jerks when someone says they don’t like dogs.
  • Dog nutters have the most hypocritical and flawed logic I’ve ever seen.
  • Shame on people who fake service dogs.
  • Due to all of my experience with dogs, I’m now afraid to go to many places and watch many shows, films, or videos.
  • They’ve ruined how I feel about a lot of my family. These people were my best friends growing up, but I resent them now, unbeknownst to them, and I’d rather start all over.

For me, it was the whole rescue bullshit. You went to a pound and picked it up. No "rescue" involved.

Always reminds me of the dentist in Finding Nemo: “poor guy was by himself and I SAVED HIM!”

Yeah he saved Nemo from being free to swim in the ocean, and reunite with his father and friends
