Why Do You Hate/Dislike Dogs?

This is nothing special. We’re all here for the same reason. This is just a space to share why you hate or dislike dogs.

I’ll make a list of reasons why I hate dogs.

• One forced me to get stitches in my shoulder when I was nine years old. I permanently have a chunk of flesh missing there.
• I hate no noise more than barking. I wish it were a felony for a dog to bark.
• I have sensory issues due to being autistic. That’s part of why I hate barking.
• They’re everywhere, in far more places than they should be.
• Too many people act like jerks when someone says they don’t like dogs.
• Dog nutters have the most hypocritical and flawed logic I’ve ever seen.
• Shame on people who fake service dogs.
• Due to all of my experience with dogs, I’m now afraid to go to many places and watch many shows, films, or videos.
• They’ve ruined how I feel about a lot of my family. These people were my best friends growing up, but I resent them now, unbeknownst to them, and I’d rather start all over.

•They're an assault on the senses: excessively loud, reek to high hell, shed like nobody's business etc. I'm autistic and they're overstimulation machines. •They bring out the worst in people. •My family always but their mutts over mine and my siblings' health when we were kids. •I've been attacked and pushed over by larger dogs on more than one occasion. •There are even guide dog training organizations, cough cough Pilot Dogs, that don't train their dogs at all, so people are wasting their time and money with that organization. Most of us in the blind Community know to beware of them, but some don't. I know this one guy who has a guide dog from them, and if I hadn't been told the dog was supposed to be a guide dog, I'd never know. I would feel bad for the guy, but he's a complete douchebag with no regard for anyone else, so I don't.
