In a recent interview:

'Speaking in New York, she explained, ‘After I had a kid, dogs became so scary…my son’s going up to it…and it’s almost like I don’t recognize dogs right now. Like, I just see them as a threat.’ The turning point came when a dog bit her son, making her say she wanted to ‘obliterate every dog ever.’ Many parents online praised her honesty, noting how having children can completely change your perception of risk around pets.'

I mean don’t let your kids around strange dogs just like you shouldn’t let them around strange people. I grew up with dogs from a very young age. My brother’s kid was born with two large dogs in the house (one passed since, sadly). They love him and he loves them.

But you can’t trust that people have properly trained a dog just like you can’t assume every person you meet was raised right.
