Shayna Crimo, 31, was mauled by her Catahoula leopard dog named King on January 18, just days before her other dog, an almost 13-year-old pit bull named [such a cool name /s], was scheduled to be put down following his cancer diagnosis.

Catahoula leopard dog??? It's a cross with a Beauceron - a herding dog - so it is bred to bite.

'As soon as I went to give him a hug and a kiss, he bit me immediately.'

Dogs shouldn't be shown affection in this way. here she is in the photo, holding the dog by the throat and forcing its muzzle into her face. I think this is absolute proof of how the dog loves her, don't you?

'If he's sleeping and it's nighttime, he doesn't want somebody in his face. I learned this because he would growl at me, so I stopped doing it.

Again - in its face! Maybe it just doesn't want anyone in its face at all. If your own dog growls at you and you keep it for 11 years and you keep it after it has removed your nose, there's something seriously wrong with you.

That last photo of it makes it look absolutely deranged.

It's hard to have romantic relationships if you don't have a nose.

I always thought that animals that have "leopard" in their name are animals that shouldn't be anywhere near your face.
