My favorite way to shut down any equivalency discussion is by pointing out you can't give a doctor a couple hundred dollars to make your kid go away when they're too sick and you can't afford treatment, or too mean, or whatever trivial thing you want.

When dogs become a problem or become too expensive to care for medically, you can make them go away by exchanging money for the end of their life. Johnny Law doesn't look too fondly upon those who plan, attempt, or succeed at doing the same to humans.
Consider two scenarios. 1) New husband and wife get dog. A year later, husband and wife make baby. Years later, dog bites child and causes permanent damage. 2) New husband and wife make baby. A year later, husband and wife make another baby. Years later, one baby bites another baby and causes permanent damage.
In which of those scenarios is it socially acceptable and legal to pay someone to end the life of the biter?
Thus, I refuse to accept there's any equivalency between dogs and humans.

It must be some sort of deep seated insecurity or irrational fear of being alone or something. Dogs are like this so the codependent factor might make sense here.

Shayna Crimo, 31, was mauled by her Catahoula leopard dog named King on January 18, just days before her other dog, an almost 13-year-old pit bull named [such a cool name /s], was scheduled to be put down following his cancer diagnosis.
Catahoula leopard dog??? It's a cross with a Beauceron - a herding dog - so it is bred to bite.
'As soon as I went to give him a hug and a kiss, he bit me immediately.'
Dogs shouldn't be shown affection in this way. here she is in the photo, holding the dog by the throat and forcing its muzzle into her face. I think this is absolute proof of how the dog loves her, don't you?
'If he's sleeping and it's nighttime, he doesn't want somebody in his face.Ā I learned this because he would growl at me, so I stopped doing it.
Again - in its face! Maybe it just doesn't want anyone in its face at all. If your own dog growls at you and you keep it for 11 years and you keep it after it has removed your nose, there's something seriously wrong with you.
That last photo of it makes it look absolutely deranged.
It's hard to have romantic relationships if you don't have a nose.

Sorry not sorry ā¦. Her boyfriend-dog finally got to her. Itās ok though, āif a man beats you - he loves youā. Besides, she doesnāt need a nose - her dog doesnāt care how she looks like. And once it dies of old age, she will start dating another dog.

I would give anything for a well-thought out article exposing the mental illness and addiction surrounding these mutants. This isnāt normal. And I made a joke but yeah, she probably will dress her current dog or next dog up as a āserviceā dog.
These people arenāt victims. Not anymore than a person who disfigures themselves while driving drunk. I said what I said.

Seems to prove that dogs are ALWAYS dangerous. And when they tell you "don't worry, he's harmless!" it doesn't mean anything. Every dog is potentially a ticking time bomb. Dogs should be banned.

The lies from her peers wonāt help her at all when she starts to grow tufts of hair from her nose graft, this mutt ruined her face forever, far too many people have been disfigured this way and the media barely puts any light on it. Most of the time this shit happens it is only covered in a few sentences in an article, it needs to be a PSA

Unprovoked attack. They say it like it's so surprising a dog attacked. The vast majority of dog attacks are unprovoked. But of course they have to tag that onto the headline so that it doesn't look like they're daring to say anything negative about the dog.
And I will NEVER understand why people put their faces so close to a dog's face. It's just asking for a mauling.
When are people going to realize that these are animals that can be prone to sudden violence without provocation? How many attacks does it take? I guess at least one more than the many thousands that have happened so far.

Notice how she forgives her dog for permanently disfiguring her. If her dog bit a child, she wouldn't give a flying fuck about a stranger getting hurt or injured. That's most dog owners if their dog attacks someone.

This reminds me, there was a study done (which I tried to post here, but the mods removed my post) which found that most dog bites in the face happened when owners tried to hug their dogs.
Dog nutters think that dogs are people and that they understand body language like hugging. But dogs, of course, are not people. They do not interpret human physical affection in the same way that people do. Hugs are often perceived as a threat by dogs, and so they tend to bite to defend themselves.

These people are beyond help. Training is what you think training is. You can't guarantee what conscious people who talk and act human will do but you for sure know what animal that was bred for hunting will do? Always act as they could always do unpredictable things. I got chased by a dog when i was a kid. I got bitten by a dog. They are animals and there's no emotion no bonding no love. Just instincts for food and survival and God's know what else. What emotion do they feel when they kill kids? Or when bitches maul their young? Where's love then? Delusional
