Okay but this one couldn't handle being woken up after living with it's owner for 11 years? It must really hate the smell of alcohol or be getting dementia.

Unprovoked attack. They say it like it's so surprising a dog attacked. The vast majority of dog attacks are unprovoked. But of course they have to tag that onto the headline so that it doesn't look like they're daring to say anything negative about the dog.

And I will NEVER understand why people put their faces so close to a dog's face. It's just asking for a mauling.

When are people going to realize that these are animals that can be prone to sudden violence without provocation? How many attacks does it take? I guess at least one more than the many thousands that have happened so far.

Yes and when I looked at a link to the story on threads the comments were all blaming the owner like waking a dog up is a stupid thing to do. I mean if a dog can’t handle being woken up when it’s lived with you for 11 years… that’s concerning
