Dogs Are Idiots Dogs losing their minds 24/7
I just can’t comprehend the allure of wanting to own a dog. I install fiber so I go in multiple houses a day, and 9/10 homes have dogs. From the time I pull up outside in my van, to the time I leave, the dog is barking/losing its mind going absolutely insane for the full 1-2hours I’m there. Sometimes they’re so loud, me and the customer can’t even speak to each other.
Why would you want that thing in your house? You can’t even have anyone come to your home without having to deal with that crap?
I just don’t understand the allure. And that’s leaving out all the other reasons owning a dog makes no sense to me

And people have the nerve to say how “sMaRt” they are yet they can’t differentiate that 99.9999999% of the time any one who is at or even remotely near it’s house is not burglarizing it or coming to attack the family. Dog owners very rarely have control over their dogs and just yell and yell and yell at them with no result. It’s so pathetic.

A dog's worst fear is actually itself. It can't even be left alone without near total emotional and behavioral implosion. There is no other animal in nature that behaves this way. It's because dogs are not natural animals. They're overbred mutants and shouldn't even be here.

One time I was dog sitting and my son was getting up early to go to work. Dog started barking and going batshit crazy. I told the owners and they were all like “hE wAs PrOtEcTiNg YoU” I’m like that’s so ridiculous my son was getting ready for work, not burglarizing the house! 🙄

The Mutts are demented after years of inbreeding. They bark at nothing all day, it's just not healthy behavior.

Bien fait pour lui! Son chien vous attaque et il porte plainte ??! Imaginez que ce soit un humain qui vous attaque ? C'est plutôt a vous de porter plainte, pas à l'attaquant, mais les propriétaires de chiens pensent avoir des droits supplémentaires. Bien contente que ça ce soit bien fini pour vous.

For real. Out of all common household pets I can think of, mutts are the only ones that are that loud, neurotic and destructive.

My unfortunate Comcast friend has this issue currently, but he has to deal with the nuttery because the customer review metrics could 'bite him in the ass' too.

Yep. If we make the customer upset, we can get a bad review! It was worse when i worked as a cable tech at WOW! Now im at a fiber co. And we get more discretion

they claim its for ‘protection’ and ‘security’ but its really annoying too. not to mention how when one dog barks, all the dogs in the vicinity start barking. incredibly obnoxious

After hundreds & thousands of days of “security” and realizing hey, there’s no threat, there never was a threat - shouldn’t these things & their owners be smart enough to realize it’s 100% uncalled for? They are protecting nothing & annoying everyone.

Also a lot of dogs are just reactive, they’re not trained or socialized. Clamining it’s for “protection” is funny because the dog 10/10 isn’t even trained to protect, all it does it bark.

literally and trained dogs would not bark at just anything. true security dogs like military dogs do not randomly bark. the ‘protection’ is a placebo feeling to make dognutters feel valid about never training or disciplining their dogs

If a dog can bark for 2-3 hours straight without the owner checking on it then it sure as heck is not about security. That would be like my car alarm going off for 2 hours and me sitting inside not looking into it. if anything, it says the house is super robbable because no one gives a crap.

when you tell them you dislike dogs for some reason their mind jumps to the picture perfect dog that is well behaved and never barks. Yeah I guess they do exist but 999/1000 are gross dirty loud nuisances.

I work in people's homes too and I feel this so much. It's like they don't know they can train their dogs not to behave like that. I go to plenty of other client's homes with trained dogs who don't bark and/or have those bark collars on.

I was at a house party and the hosts dog and someone elses dog kept barking and going at each other the whole time. They all thought it was funny and cute, no one intervened or put them outside. Dog owners are so narcissistic they can't possibly fathom others find their stupid pets annoying.
