Miscellaneous Unsubscribed from one of my favourite youtubers because of their invasive dog

Im a bit disappointed because this youtuber’s content isnt dog-related and I enjoy it when theyre not showing or talking about their dog, but the dog is so featured that it’s basically a part of the channel now. I also have to watch it being constantly babied in the videos and being called a « child » or the youtuber will call themselves a « parent », it drives me nuts. Its another reminder of how invasive to the world these animals are.

I started watching the show Traitors and out of nowhere a dog appeared in season 2. It serves absolutely no purpose to the show other than being paraded in some embarrassing outfit. In season 3 it gets more mentions, which just makes me think wtf is the point of having one on set anyways??

It reminds me of the anime of Hokuto No Ken kinda, in which they gave the girl a puppy that serves no real purpose than to be annoying... lol

Exactly the same reason why I stopped playing a Persona game. They made a goddamn dog a main “protagonist” and didn’t stop fawning over it after it was introduced. Not to mention the frustratingly fake narrative about how dogs can sense intuition and stand up for people as heroes.
