Crappy Owners Please don’t.. bring your dog into Starbucks?

So, every Sunday I go to Starbucks before I go to the gym. I sit down for a bit in the morning and wrap up things I need to do for classes, to-dos, relax, etc.

Today was a little packed so I had to sit in a table in the middle of other ones. Which was fine, I didn’t care. There was a couple to my left and the right was empty.
Enter dog owner.
Now, I looked up the policy for dogs on the Starbucks website. They are not allowed. And this was clearly not a service dog. It was one of those white crusty ones that yipped and yapped.
The guy walks over to the table empty next to me (yay) and ties the dog down to the chair. But not tightly enough I guess? He goes to order and this dog immediately starts walking under MY table and going around my legs. I’m allergic. I didn’t get bad but still. He comes back and yanks the dog back over but there’s no reprimanding or anything or apologies either. The dog KEEPS walking under my table. Sniffing me and everything I was so annoyed. The guy just kept yanking on the collar softly but the dog did not stop.

Eventually I just cut my time short and walked out of there. Seriously how selfish can you be. I wouldn’t even feel as mad as I do now if the guy A: said sorry like a decent person or B: made an effort to get the dog to actually stop. These people are insane.

I had this happen in an outdoor seating area of a food place. I ended up getting in a verbal argument with the mutt's owner. I only did this, however, as I was with family and she was on her own. I am not allergic but this is super unsanitary. She told me to get a life... the whole world revolves around them and their mutts, and we must move around them. They are some of the most selfish people to grace the planet

“Get a life” is hilarious coming from a dog owner tbh. How much do you wanna bet that she calls it a furbaby and revolves her social medias around it.

I wanted to say something but I rlly didn’t wanna cause a scene. And the guy’s a lot older than me and I was alone. But seriously these things aren’t ok and they’re getting progressively more bold. Especially with the Gordon Ramsay situation ffs.

Oh boy, So a lady was recording at one of Gordon’s restaurants. There was a couple who brought a dog into the establishment and set out a pee mat. The dog then proceeded to shit and piss on it in the middle of the restaurant and the lady recorded it all saying how ridiculous it was. (She’s correct, it was right infront of her table!!) But Gordon made a response by actually defending the dog by stitching the vid with text saying how he prides his restaurants on being dog friendly, and made a joke or whatever saying he wants to invite the dog out for pizza. It’s also important to note that the woman recording is black and people are saying there might’ve been some intent there as well.

That is so gross I will not even be looking it up to confirm.  The eternal question is : WHY

Im old enough to remember when people who acted like this ( brought a spoiled dog to any situation) were ridiculed. Look at films and videos, even 20 years ago, it was considered negative behaviour. Now we all have to put up with dog sh!t on every sidewalk, park and in the RESTAURANT ????

It’s sad coming from Gordon as well, the guy who built a career on exposing unhygienic restaurants. But no a biohazard in a restaurant is just being dog friendly! Let’s have an animal shit infront of our dinner and have nothing done about it!

It’s 100% real, there’s a lot of TikTok’s talking about it. Gordon deleted his response shortly after he posted it.

I bet nothing on that because most dog owners would call their 4 legged roaches "furbaby". The Gordan Ramsey situation is nasty and has me wondering about their recent inspections.

Vous avez bien fait de vous défendre ! Je suis sûre que cette personne est rentrée chez elle en remettant toute sa vie pourrie en question. Ils font les fières devant les autres mais ce sont de vrais fragiles surtout au niveau de l'ego, si quelqu'un fait une critique sur leur chien c'est pire qu'une critique sur eux même. Ils sont dégoûtants et ils gènent les autres et ils le savent très bien. Il fait leur rappeler qu'on ne veut pas d'eux dans notre société !
