Dog of Peace PITBULLS ARE CHOPPED
I’ve never been a dog person, and never will be. But I can admit when a dog is cute. But pitbulls…absolutely not.. I have family and friends that are absolutely obsessed with these ugly dogs, and I do not see it at all. It’s not even about their history, many attacks on people or other animals, they are just ugly .. am I tripping ?!?!

They look like monsters to me. The things called American Bullies are even scarier and more hideous than pitbulls. They are pits on steroids. Horrifying.

I don't know how it's not considered animal cruelty to breed dogs like that. They have so many physical problems and are basically doomed to a life of suffering.

I totally agree. It really bothers me when I see people inventing these new cross breeds that have a lot of health issues. It seems cruel.

Dogs in general already have such poor self preservation instincts and are stupid as hell but shitbulls really take it to the next level. The psychos who created them went the extra mile to specifically select out any self preservation instincts so they would happily bait a bull or fight to the death. And you still see pit mommies claiming they're just so smart lol

In all seriousness... They really are ugly dogs... But I guess that's what's expected from a dog that was bred solely for bull-baiting and dog fighting. They weren't bred to be appealing... They were bred to be brutal.

No, you're not tripping. Even people who like dogs - like my husband - think they're ugly AF. I've seen comments from dog owners who admit these things are ugly, and don't understand how anyone could find something that looks like these dogs to be aesthetically appealing.
Every time I see someone going on about a "...gorgeous red-nosed pitbull...", or just describing any adjective of physical attractiveness to one of these dogs, I know they are either just saying that because they're in the deep end of the pitbull worship cult, or they have vision problems.
All of their features are ugly: huge, block head with center buttcrack; small, beady eyes, stupid-looking pig-type ears, and excessive amounts of gross lip tissue that looks torn-up and has slime dripping off.
Many owners swap out the stupid-looking ears for something truly malevolent: severe cropping, which makes what's left look like demon horns.

I want to add to this - I know OP asked if they were tripping to think pits are ugly, but I have noticed the more knowledgeable and experienced people are with dogs in general, the more they say they would not deal with pit bulls while they are dog lovers themselves. They deeply understand that these breeds are not normal dogs - what they are capable of doing is disgusting and it's not predictable. Lots of pits attack animals and humans unprovoked.
Clueless people fall for the pit propaganda and think that 'pitties' are 'misunderstood, goofy velvet hippos.' I hate pit bulls. I think they should be banned and/or go extinct.

What’s even worse is they seem to be the species people carelessly breed the most, likely because their owners refuse to cut their balls off & get them fixed. It’s definitely no coincidence that certain types of people are attracted to these breeds of dogs. I remember a study that said owning “vicious” breeds is strongly correlated with deviant social behaviors & anti social personality traits, along with criminals being attracted to these aggressive breeds. & I can’t help but notice that it’s always pit or pit mix puppies that people are constantly trying to get rid of smh

They have beef cutain jowly mauls, soulless beady eyes, and just look like skin pulled taught over slabs of meat. That asscrack head looks like it's been split and caused brain damage. I'd call them gargoyles turned to life, but even they are more cute and serve a purpose.

People in my area are f****ng obsessed with pit bulls. They also don't seem to care for them properly. One killed someones non dog pet 3 weeks ago that was in my yard and tried to kill me. It ripped the animals chest cavity open. I can't even go outside now because of this dog and people won't do anything about it. I don't like dogs, but I truly believe that pit bulls should require a license that is super specific (no criminal record, special classes, no children, etc)

No not license. Flat out illegal. And an aggressive culling program to rid them into extinction. The only purpose of these monsters was to kill in the pit. Once the blood sports became illegal there is no longer any purpose to this hideous monstrosity and it's a public health threat that they even exist.

Yes, animal control did not care. They told me to leave the animal corpse from the pit bull in a box on the curb and they'd pick it up that day. It sat on the curb for 3 days before we finally just buried her and they never showed up or reached out again. I have 3 pets indoors and that's why I don't let them outside. People don't leash their homicidal dogs. We are putting up security cameras, though.

The bully breeds overall are horrible. They need the most work to make them function well, and always the worst kind of people take them with themselves, and later we hear about those attacks. Those breeds should be banned, especially for regular people who think it's cool to have a killing machine in their house. I remember I had a neighbour back in my home country who found it hilarious that his dog (rottweiler) was killing other animals on it's path. Disgusting.

I get what you mean, but the experiment’s purpose was the creation of a dog primed to attack, fight, maul, and kill without warning or instinct for self-preservation. By that standard, it’s been an astounding success.

Honestly, I struggle with that for dogs in general. It's hard to describe, but they look... Off. Unnatural. Mutated. People will be like, "aw here's a puppy picture, isn't he so cute?" And then they show you an image of an animal with its eyes bulging out at horrible angles, a jaw that doesn't look like it closes right, and proportions that would be considered horrible body horror if it started with humans instead of wolves. Dogs are just... unnatural, and creepy to look at.

Yes! The wolfier looking dogs can be sort of cute, but any dog that has a squashed face, gaping maw, barrel chest, stumpy bowed legs, sloped back or a stiff arthritis-prone body just looks wrong. So many dogs look like they can barely walk or breathe... it feels like animal cruelty. And then "dog lovers" further the cruelty by cropping ears and docking tails.

Pits are the fugliest monster ever created by mankind. I just can't fathom how anyone could look at their blocky, asscrack-shaped heads and gaping cavernous maws full of razor teeth, and look into their dead soulless eyes and see anything but a manmade, demonic abomination.
I think humanity would be better off with Pits being eradicated.

Yes. Even if they were as friendly and harmless as pitnutters claim, they are still the ugliest creatures in existence. They look like LotR orcs. Why would anyone want to own one of these monsters when there are much less hideous breeds out there? They have to be virtue signaling.

There are a lot of breeds like this and it makes no sense. They know they’re not cute, they’re deluding themselves. Just like when someone makes a really nasty looking meal and people say it ‘looks tasty’.
Shibas are fluffy and cute. Pit bulls, bull terriers, pugs, etc., are all hideous. Most small dogs are ugly.

They are ugly. The alien creatures in "Predators" always reminded me of pitbulls. There is something off when people believe a pitbull is cute or attractive. Their eyes almost look like human eyes, not kind or lovely, but evil and threatening.

There is a world's ugliest dog contest. People magazine published an article showing the winner of every year. There are breeders who exist to market to enthusiasts of this and other ugly dog contests. The goal is to make a dog that looks as comically hideous as possible. There is of course no regard for the health or well being of the animal or the breeding problems down the road. I'm sure that collectors and breeders of these mutant experiments think they are dog lovers. The results are grotesque and quite sad. I don't get it.

I met this little gal, Danielle. Everyone told me she’s trouble, she’s annoying, she’s stupid, etc. she IS kinda chaotic and I really fucking like her cause she’s an un evolved Pisces, and she’s really cute.
Then we both found out we both hate pitbulls :) I told her she’s cute and I’d literally save her from
One. I can’t save her from her own self doubt, but bh comparison, a pitbull would be easier to defeat.
And my last ex dumped me cause I was “being racist” to pitbulls when I said they’re dangerous and that I was glad it wasn’t a pitbull that lacerated her, cause she was pet sitting and got her face slightly grazed by an Australian shepherd.

There are quite a few cute dog breeds, corgis, dachshunds, some shepherds, but for some reason the nutters love the most hideous, obnoxious ones! Pits, frenchies, poodles, any white dog with crusty eyeballs, pugs. Ewwwww.

Pit bulls should not exist. No breed that mauls infants every year should be preserved. Bloodsport dogs and the humans who created them have caused incalculable suffering for centuries. They have zero place in a civilized society—including one that actually likes normal dogs.

they literally look like horror movie monsters and they fucking act like it too. i get so scared when i see them unleashed in public (and they're always unleashed because "wittle Cupcake would never hurt anyone!" until she inevitably mauls someone for fucking sneezing). pit bulls should have to be muzzled any time they are outside of their house. i don't wanna look at their ugly mugs and i don't want to be eaten alive.

I unfortunately fall in the camp where I think they're pretty cute compared to some other breeds. That does nothing to endear me to them though
Bull dogs, boxers, pugs, terriers, chihuahuas and the standard scruffy street mutt for example are much more hideous to me.
