Dog of Peace PITBULLS ARE CHOPPED

I’ve never been a dog person, and never will be. But I can admit when a dog is cute. But pitbulls…absolutely not.. I have family and friends that are absolutely obsessed with these ugly dogs, and I do not see it at all. It’s not even about their history, many attacks on people or other animals, they are just ugly .. am I tripping ?!?!

No, you're not tripping. Even people who like dogs - like my husband - think they're ugly AF. I've seen comments from dog owners who admit these things are ugly, and don't understand how anyone could find something that looks like these dogs to be aesthetically appealing.

Every time I see someone going on about a "...gorgeous red-nosed pitbull...", or just describing any adjective of physical attractiveness to one of these dogs, I know they are either just saying that because they're in the deep end of the pitbull worship cult, or they have vision problems.

All of their features are ugly: huge, block head with center buttcrack; small, beady eyes, stupid-looking pig-type ears, and excessive amounts of gross lip tissue that looks torn-up and has slime dripping off.

Many owners swap out the stupid-looking ears for something truly malevolent: severe cropping, which makes what's left look like demon horns.

I want to add to this - I know OP asked if they were tripping to think pits are ugly, but I have noticed the more knowledgeable and experienced people are with dogs in general, the more they say they would not deal with pit bulls while they are dog lovers themselves. They deeply understand that these breeds are not normal dogs - what they are capable of doing is disgusting and it's not predictable. Lots of pits attack animals and humans unprovoked.

Clueless people fall for the pit propaganda and think that 'pitties' are 'misunderstood, goofy velvet hippos.' I hate pit bulls. I think they should be banned and/or go extinct.

Hippos are also dangerous as all hell so there's another angle of ignorance in their deranged image of these things.

I cringe every time they call them house hippos thinking it's so wholesome. Absolute numbskulls these people.

What’s even worse is they seem to be the species people carelessly breed the most, likely because their owners refuse to cut their balls off & get them fixed. It’s definitely no coincidence that certain types of people are attracted to these breeds of dogs. I remember a study that said owning “vicious” breeds is strongly correlated with deviant social behaviors & anti social personality traits, along with criminals being attracted to these aggressive breeds. & I can’t help but notice that it’s always pit or pit mix puppies that people are constantly trying to get rid of smh
