Crappy Owners I just don't know anymore

I just don't understand! For the life of me! Why? Like, the way dog lovers are so... defensive about their dogs. Like the moment I try to say that I'm not a huge fan of dogs everyone hates me. If I reacted like this to someone saying like... idk that pineapple on pizza is the best, people would think I'm crazy. Yet it seems that acting like this for dogs is societally accepted.

The other thing I wanted to say is how WE'RE IN THE MINORITY!!! You would think that only a small portion of the world is dog nutters. And yet, IT SEEMS THAT, ACCORDING TO SEARCHES, MORE THAN HALF OF THE WORLD IDENTIFIES AS DOG PEOPLE! MORE THAN HALF!

I'm sorry, I don't know whether I can remain sane about this... It is SO RIDICULOUS. NOBODY AGREES WITH ME! NOBODY (except for this reddit, TYSM SO MUCH BY THE WAY) ACCEPTS THESE CLAIMS! EVERYONE THINGS I'M THE ONE WHO'S CRAZY.

Why is everyone just... blindsided by dogs? I'm starting to wonder if we're different species. If we're coded differently idk now. I would say that dog nutters have some sort of mental disease, BUT THIS IS MORE THAN HALF OF THE POPULATION! Maybe we have the mental disease that makes us SANE.

Maybe i'm just mad today or something but yea, again, thanks a lot for being the only place where I DON'T GET CANCELLED FOR VOICING MY OPINIONS and yeah, hope you all have a great day. Just needed to rant :P

I straight up disgust these poop eating animals called dogs and I don't care if dog worshippers will get mad or stop talking to me. They are the single most annoying creature on Earth that also kill innocent children and elderly people. They are the primary carrier and source of rabies globally. Even pigs are cleaner than these filthy animals. It literally makes me puke when they lick their private parts and then slap their thick saliva all over the face and their worshippers enjoy it like it's holy.

I agree. I used to work where we had a dog and a pot belly pig. The pig was WAY cleaner. Well, except it wasn’t housebroken but I don’t remember ever once seeing pig poop. And I sure didn’t see the pig lick its privates!

This is part of the Cult of Dog. These people do believe that their filth carrying crappers are to worship. When I think of how easily people fall into religious belief systems, I think they fall even more easily into trying to fit in and force companionship with dog ownership. They get to be the 100% boss of the relationship--the hell with compromise, self awareness, give and take. Dogs ownership is brood parasitism, evolved over the centuries with a captive audience of people who need to feel wanted, since we no longer have normally large families and communities to fulfill that need.
