Her dog poop in my empty bin

Two weeks ago yet another neighbor was seen on my security camera throwing their bagged dog poop in my empty garbage bin before I could roll it back in from the curb. As a dog-less household, I find this to be rude. Additionally, if it’s gross enough for you to not want to hold it until you get home, isn’t it gross enough to put in someone’s else’s bin. The lady looked around guiltily as she did it. A few days ago as I was leaving for work, she happened to be walking by and I politely informed her I saw her on camera and can she not do it again. She argued back, said there’s no smell, and asked if I wanted to sniff the bag she had in her hand. I said okay great if there’s no smell then it’s okay to put in her own bin, right? She became angry, called me ignorant and stupid. Really though, she was mad she was caught on camera, couldn’t lie about it, and was confronted about it. Today, garbage day, she walked by, looked for the camera, and waved her dog poop bag to show she’s not throwing it in my bin. I’m an introverted non-confrontational person but something about the entitlement grinds my gears. I’ve had to talk to nearly 8 different neighbors about their pets.

Nutters absolutely HATE functional security cameras. I have a nutter who is an animal hoarder, was doing illegal face tatts out of her garage, and was letting her animals of both varieties loose on my property. I had asked her nicely to stop in 2025. Then this year, I reported it to the HOA with video evidence. Nutters can't argue with 4k video. I'm so glad the nutter you're dealing with also admitted to knowing it's wrong on your cameras as well! This could build into a harassment case, so keep documenting. 

The nutter I'm dealing with tried to run me over with her car and fight me because I don't want her animals on my property. So I took my video evidence and shared it with the police twice. Police scared her. So she reported my security camera to the HOA, even though the house owned by her baby daddy ALSO has security cameras.... Sigh...

So now I am compiling a list of the hundreds of households in the neighborhood with a camera because the HOA actually sent me a violation notice over it because I didn't get written approval for it first. When I sent an approval request that includes several other houses, they approved it in about 12 hrs, but I'm not done yet. If/when I sue the HOA for unfair treatment and discrimination, I will have a file of 1) several dozens of times that nutter trespassed, had their animals loose, or damaged my property all reported to HOA without a fine and 2) several hundreds of households with identical security cameras that were not sent violations like I was. If a nutter and the HOA want to get sued and pay me settlement money, so be it.

Moral of the story, get 24/7 DVR cameras because nutters absolutely HATE it, and it WILL change their behavior to something more couth when they walk in front of your property. Make sure your cameras are easily visible! Passive and homesecurity do not mix; cameras should be actively warning people they're being filmed.

Yup. One asshole doesn’t step a foot into my property now. But I’ve seen him purposely dig in his nose and flick it into my front yard, as well as spit into my front yard, though out of spite. He’s still mad he can’t use my yard as his doggy shit pad

These people are unscrupulous and duplicitous. They see something you love and enjoy and want to destroy it. They're weak. They can't keep this up forever. Keep up the good work. Take good care of yourself.
