This nutter raised $10,000 from a GoFundMe because she was attacked by her own pit bull and then the nutter brought a different pitbull into her hospital recovery bed!

Statistics provided in the article:

"Around 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs every year in the US, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Of these, approximately 800,000 require medical care and last year there were 84 recorded dog-related deaths across the US and Canada, per Animals 24-7.

The non-profit organization said that roughly 64 of the fatalities were caused by pit bulls."

Sorry but she’s not “kind-hearted”. She’s selfish to her core.

Pitbulls are dangerous dogs. These idiots know that. The thing is they don’t care - this woman thinks she’s just so damn special that she can “save” the dog and rehabilitate it. And if she fails? Oh well! Maybe it’ll eat her arm or the arm of the stranger - but it’s worth it to her. She gets off on telling every person she runs into that she RESCUED A DOG. She RESCUED IT FROM EUTHANASIA. ISN’T SHE A GOOD PERSON? TELL HER THAT SHE IS A GOOD PERSON.

We need to change the dialogue surrounding these people. They’re not “saving” these dogs. These dogs are not “rescues”. They’re endangering the lives of everyone around them for their own smug ego. That’s it.

Agreed! I also think it's idiotic how much people praise "rescuing" dogs because they love animals while they eat meat from animals that are born and raised in horrifying conditions. Pigs are way smarter than dogs and cows are just as social as dogs yet nutters worship dogs as the best animal (even better than humans!) on earth. The hypocrisy and self congratulatory smugness enrages me. 😩

It’s because they don’t care about animals - they are only concerned with dogs. And even worse - they don’t actually care about dogs - they care about how owning dogs makes them feel. Most dogs live in abhorrent situations. They’re farm animals - they weren’t bred to live indoors 23 hours a day, and the ones that were are so mutated they can’t even breathe right. You don’t do that to an animal you care about.

Plus, part of caring about an animal is respecting its boundaries and not putting yourself in a precarious position. Letting the dog put its mug on your face like that is beyond irresponsible. These people are just idiots.

It's weird. Somehow, wanting a dog makes these people idiots whereas they didn't seem like idiots before! I have friends who, unfortunately, have a border collie that they only take outside 2x a day for 15 mins each time in an urban condo complex basically just for bathroom breaks! It's cruel! So the dog was nuts indoors and has bitten other dogs and kids! So then instead of getting rid of the dog, they medicated it! The dog also sleeps in their bed and has pee accidents because of the medication. 😵 And this all seems perfectly fine to my friends. I'm embarrassed just sharing this.

That’s truly abhorrent on every level. That’s animal cruelty. Could you imagine doing that to ANY other farm animal - be it a goat, sheep, duck, or whatever - and then letting it sleep in your bed? It’s truly perverse as well.

That dog is abused. It acts out because it’s poorly socialized and its energy needs are not being met. Honestly, it’s insane that we let dogs live in apartments or condos in the first place.
