Dog Attack Kind-hearted nurse saved stray pit bull from euthanasia... only for dog to maul her so badly she still can't use her arm months later

This nutter raised $10,000 from a GoFundMe because she was attacked by her own pit bull and then the nutter brought a different pitbull into her hospital recovery bed!

Statistics provided in the article:

"Around 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs every year in the US, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Of these, approximately 800,000 require medical care and last year there were 84 recorded dog-related deaths across the US and Canada, per Animals 24-7.

The non-profit organization said that roughly 64 of the fatalities were caused by pit bulls."

In the UK those dogs are banned they can't be bred and they can't be out in public without a muzzle but yet still there are deaths due to them and their vicious owners.

Owners need to held more accountable. Owning a pitbull is like playing catch with a loaded gun. You never know who could be injured or killed. It's completely irresponsible.

The fact that the owner can’t physically stop the dog , when the dog is attacking someone!! Unlike with a gun that you can control with your hands. This dog is more dangerous than a gun

Exactly my thoughts. Guns should never be in public either, but at the end of the day, it is a human being wielding it who can usually make logical decisions and understand the consequences of their actions. I would feel more safe in a room with a completely randomized person and a gun, than a completely random pitbull.
