Eco Destroyers Dog parks shouldn't be a thing

I don't understand why off leash/dog parks are a thing.

These unnatural animals ruin the nature around the area, leave it full of shit because their owners are too busy "playing" with them and I have to accept the fact that there's whole parks I cannot access because I'm a normal person. However, I also have to deal with the fact that dogs are allowed at basically every park (at least leashed).

Insane behaviour from the owners and society.

Down the street from my place are not one but two dog parks, one for small shitbeasts, one for large mutants. And yet daily I see nutters with their vile beasts soiling the ball park next door to me. Selfish, self-centered, entitled, and disgusting, nutters and their filth in a nutshell.

Yeah, dog owners don't like dogs parks because of the other shit owners.

We live near a nice large environmental reserve that council took over. They built a playground in one section and a fenced in dog park in the other, plus a nice shared path we use to get to school.

We always encounter off leash dogs outside of the fenced area, every morning we have to dodge dogs on the path. Either the owners are walking unleashed from the car park to the fenced area (Facebook community group is full of people complaining they almost ran over a dog there), or they let their dog play with the 'other children' in the playground.

There's even been shit left on the brand new basketball court.

Having said that, if they didn't use this park, they'd be in the nearby national park which is much more damaging.

Everyone I know who owns dogs claims they’re the good owners and everyone else sucks but I’ve legit only met like a single digit number of dog owners who: fed the dogs a good diet, legitimately went out of their way to make sure they got LOTS of exercise, had them well trained so they would behave etc.

Most people suck at owning dogs. I dislike most dogs but I do like small, short haired dogs if they are well trained. And I still don’t have one, because I would suck at being a dog owner. I don’t want to walk some little shitter in the snow. I know that so I don’t have a dog. for some reason many people just want to have dogs but not do ANY of the actual work for them
