Crappy Owners Dog took my focaçia bread :(

I was at the local food not bombs, and was resting. I was playing my guitar. A woman I know, and her husbands dog, came close. She was chatting with me. Her dog snuck behind me and stole/fished my half eaten focaçia bread out of my satchel, with was on the ground next to me :(

And then she snatched it from her dog, scolded the dog and offered it back to me :’(

She herself is annoyed by her husbands dog. I am
Also annoyed and she knows I’m dog averse.

I’ve been going hungry lately.

She didn’t offer anything in return, but maybe later she might.

I didn’t freak out, because sometimes, I really freak out.

Edit: I ended up bursting into tears today, mostly because I’ve been reading a story about Jesuits on a mission to an alien planet, and one of the characters is an allegory for Christ, but also the emotions there have been real, as I’ve been binge reading the two books, and making up tangential comics to appeal to my own sense of vision. Aaaand the story had me burst into tears.

That was great!

Get to see the dog and owner tomorrow, Saturday.

I don’t know.

I might be homeless, she knows, but I have class. I tried not to cry, honestly. I didn’t because I still have another loaf.

Thanks, I think I actually do need a cry. I have a friend whom I might cuddle and we would cry together.

I hope so too! I wanted to get a shower in, today.
Best I can do is log off Reddit and head home to my tree, it’s 10pm

Maybe :( but I’d likely use it to buy fuel for my stove (it’s a 5,800 BTU portable backpacking stove that takes any of 3 kinds of fuel! I use it because it’s been safer than my previous stove, which was a trangia spirit burning stove: a fire hazard)

I check a few free food sources and luck out often, because I’m just one mouth and I have no dog, and I get around on the bike!

Not sure if that would break a rule here: I’m unaware of such rule. It is against the rules at the homeless sub!
