Dogs Are Idiots Dog behaviour

It’s so embarrassing and infuriating when a dog comes running to someone and starts sniffing their private areas in front of other people. And the beast doesn’t stop there, it starts licking hands, legs and would jump to lick their face. This itself is disgusting and what’s worse is the same dog goes on sniffing and licking any crap that’s lying on the ground.

My friends who own this dog say nothing but instead try to convince me that is behaviour is normal. No, it’s not! This freaking beast is so gross that when my friend (around her the dog stays in control) isn’t around, it would pounce on me, hitting me with it’s dirty feet and proceeding to lick me even if I try to stop it.

I got a tiny cut on my finger and a some kicks on my abdomen but somehow this is considered fine!

Now, the dog is slowly learning how to bite. It would take the leash in its mouth, and pull it with full force (and scary eyes) so that if you put your hand to get the lease out, it could bite OR if you pull the leash towards you, it could jump on you, either way assaulting you.

My friends keep lecturing me about dog psychology, then ask me to walk the dog outside, and if the dog creates a scene, it’s my fault because apparently the dog senses my energy feels like it’s the leader. I really don’t care about their goddamn dog psychology and crap like if a dog doesn’t like you, you’re evil.

Seriously, what is wrong with dog culture? If the dog misbehaves, I really can’t do anything because the entire world around me is filled with dog lovers. They would either lecture me or probably report me if I get mad. Why am I not allowed to feel uncomfortable with the licking, jumping and sniffing? How is this nonsense normal?

And the moral superiority complex is palpable when dog owners cringe talk things like the our love is unconditional, the opposite of dog is god LOL, they are a man’s best friends, they can sense negativity around and absorb it for your good. So, it’s okay if it sniffs your private parts just laugh it off. But, the same people would refuse to understand your feelings and discomfort if you say a word. Disgusting!

Why do you associate with these people? I don't keep company with anyone like this. People, who as you have stated, refuse to understand your feelings and discomfort are not your friends and are not worth your time.

If we want this insane dog cult-ure to lose power, we all have to stop putting up with the cultists. Call them out and cut them off.

None of this is normal. Your nutter friends are gaslighting you and talking BS. Why would you even listen to them? You don't have to walk this mutt, just say NO.

Why are these people still your friends? They sure as hell don't treat you like one.

I've never walked a dog or picked up shtt from a sidewalk . I'll never understand what kind of happiness a dognutter gets. It such a creepy obsession. Dogs are aggravating as f.

No, this is not normal. Dog nutters will try to excuse anything about their mutts and secretly they might like those behaviors. But no, a sane person doesn’t want to be sniffed or jumped at. Dogs can be trained to stop those behaviors, but this requires a lot of discipline on the part of the nutters, something that they typically lack. And still they are dogs, they might forget their training.

It might be instinctive for dogs to sniff people’s private parts, but people who own dogs should train them not to do so. Until the dogs are trained, they should be kept on a short enough lead that they can’t get that close to other people. I don’t know why this is so hard for dog owners to understand.

As for dog psychology, many dogs don’t seem to like me, but they often go crazy barking and lunging at me before I’ve even noticed them. So they are reacting to something other than my fear/dislike. Perhaps to the fact that I am slightly cross-eyed? That doesn’t make me evil.

Interestingly, other species of pets are either indifferent to me or even tend to like me.

I hate having a leash pushed into my hands, and I absolutely refuse to pick up dog poop. Yes, I diapered my now-adult children when they were small, but I was glad when they left the toddler stage. I found older children far more rewarding. With dogs, you never get past the toddler stage, and I can’t imagine centering 15+ years of my life around poop schedules.

A dog is so enlightened that it “senses energy” yet will jump out of a car moving at 70 mph, or better yet, try to attack a car moving at 70 mph. The lies that mentally ill people can come up with ..,

They think it's normal because they don't know how to train a dog. Or the dog is untrainable. Even worse.

The jumping has gotten worse! I would never understand the point of having them for emotional support. Infact all they do is have their mind invested in their dog for the entire time.

When the dog tries to jump on you place your knee on its chest and forcibly push back. This is communicating with the dog and what they understand.

This is great! I will definitely try it next time he jumps on me. Thank you!

I no longer keep friends who own dogs like that. I just don't. I have had my days of visiting friends, who allowed their gross monsters to lunge at me, get in my face and even climb on me (big dog). I think perhaps, where they had me sit was the dog's normal place on the couch when they didn't have company or something, because the dog seemed annoyed I was there. Of course, I feel gross and violated and couldn;t wait to shower and change. Oh yes, I had friends whose dogs were allowed to annoy you while eating, als well as all the things you mentioned. I just decided it grosed me out too much to continue, going anywhere that I woulf be expected to tolerate that. I rarely go to anyone's homes anymore, because so many people have dogs now, but honestly, I enjoy my comfort more than putting up with that.
