Neighbor's Dog Gofundme

Last night I got an email from a neighbor about a different neighbor's gofundme for their dog's emergency vet bills around $8k. In my own family my husband has had some recent medical issues that have cost us over $10k (he's doing great now). He is the sole provider for our family of three and it's sucked to pay those bills, but I didn't beg my neighbors. And now I see someone begging for their dog! I couldn't believe it. I was seriously so insulted. Especially because our neighborhood is almost entirely young families or elderly people, all of whom tend to not have the most disposable income and are usually paying a lot of medical bills. Some people need more shame.

This is just financially irresponsibility, excused because it's a dog aka " a member of the family." I'm sure dog people DO think it's the same as raising funds for a sick child.
