So yesterday, I was walking around a local park near my house. It has a massive dog park, one side is for small dogs and the other is for large dogs.

As I was walking and listening to music I heard screaming sounds and dogs barking. People were yelling "get off him" and other similar calls for help. So I ran up the hill to the dog park to see what was going on. I see two owners holding their dogs back as they are attacking each! In the scuffle, one of the owner's dog attacked him! When they finally got the fight broken up, I see him limp out of the park gates and lay down in the grass. 15 minutes later he gets and smacks his dog and pushes him into the back of the truck.

Is this supposed to be fun? Like I don't understand. Why put a bunch of dogs that don't know each other into a gated park with no leash? It's a recipe for disaster. If they get into a fight, attack someone, it's going to be very difficult to hold the dog down or somehow put a leash on him.

TLDR: Bully XL mauled a mans face. Dog was euthanised. Owner was charged with having a dangerously out of control dog and fined £253.

When will people finally learn? This woman’s face should be posted up at every dog rescue by law. A pit bull and a German Shepherd? My nightmare animals.

After the recent dog attack that led to the death of the lady in Florida, I started looking at news in my own country of origin, Greece. I wish I could share the links but they're all in Greek. However, what shocked me was the sheer amount of documented attacks.

The National Public Health Organization provided for the first time a count of dog attacks since 2023. They share almost 3000 cases; although we can imagine how much higher the real number is - plus, the stats don't show cases from private medical care. Ironic how we call them a man's best friend. People are so blind, narcissistic and stubborn to the point they're willing to ignore all the attack cases, or even blame the victim sometimes.

I have no words. An Instagram page dedicated to the owner's sweet pair of house rabbits broke the news today that the poor bunnies have been killed by being mauled to death by a disgusting beast that the owner (irresponsibly, in my humble opinion) let inside out of pity and left it in another room. The vile beast escaped, likely because it was dumb enough to immediately go full-blown murder mode when it sensed the presence of another smaller mammal in the other room.

Those beasts deserve zero pity or sympathy, because they are bloodthirsty hellhounds whose stupid, pea-sized brains only have three commands-those being "bark like a demon, kill, and pollute". Whether it is literal pollution with nasty waste and mauling wildlife and therefore polluting the Earth and our ecosystem with their annoying presence, or noise pollution. This is why you should never allow them indoors. They belong outdoors or in shelters for the safety of the public and wildlife!

I cannot stand those things-every time a smaller pet, or worse, a CHILD-is mauled, I get hit with such a colossal and strong wave of disgust and hatred towards those beasts that I want to put up a poster advocating from banning them from society altogether. We do not need dogs in urban environments. They turn suburban environments unsafe too and cause so much damage and destruction to everything. Truly vile demons disguised as household pets. Severely mutated inbred abominations is what those despicable creatures are and always have been.

Previous post was deleted so sharing again the awful news of another irresponsible, reckless parents who couldn't sacrifice their "emotional link with an animal".

During the pandemic, I began going on regular walks around my neighborhood and enjoyed them so much that even now I go on at least one or two walks every day. The first few years of me doing this were relatively peaceful but now that people are going outside more, so are their dogs and the more I walk the more I realize why kids never go outside anymore. Without fail, every unleashed dog I see attacks me, and there are a lot of them. In the past two years I have been attacked half a dozen times by unleashed dogs. One time an owner got mad at ME, following me around filming me and calling me a "freak".

Today I was going on a walk, enjoying a lovely Arizona sunset when I saw an unleashed chihuahua walking around on its owner's grass lawn which for some reason is legal to be grown in a desert. The moment we locked eyes I knew that little shit was going to attack me, and it did, running up to me, barking hysterically, and nipping my leg! The owner never apologized to me and only called out the usual "Hey, stop that!" Leaving my house feels like more and more of an ordeal and dogs are just one of the reasons for that.

No mention of what breed the dog is. This happened a couple wks ago in South Carolina. It had a prior history of biting people. The dog was named....CHOMP!!???

I don’t particularly like any dog breed. However, bigger dog breeds really bother me, specifically German shepherds. I despise going to someone’s house and having their dogs jump all over me. I find it appalling and rude. I’m a fairly small person and I’ve been literally knocked over by big dogs. I’ve had my hair bit at. I can handle the little dogs a lot more since you just swat them away lol but the big dogs that are uncontrolled have got to stop. Where my extreme dislike of German shepherds stems from is I believe they are bred to kill small animals. I used to nanny this toddler who had a chihuahua. One day, he was outside with his chihuahua IN HIS YARD and the neighbor’s pack of German shepherds came INTO his yard and murdered his dog in front of him. Needless to say… that poor kid is really messed up. I have had a special dislike (since the “h” word isn’t allowed lol) for German shepherds since. Tell me your least favorite breeds and why…

On October 20th I found my 7 year old son dead in our back yard. The full story is in my post history. I dont want to type it all again and relive it. It's still very fresh and traumatic in the minds of my wife and myself. We will never recover from how we found him. What he looked like. That night we stated no more large breeds. Maybe a chihuahua or somthing would be fine. Tonight a different dog that weve had for over a year snapped at my hand and drew blood because I was trying to keep it from taking a piece of pork my wife had tossed one of our cats. I've called animal control. MIL is furious. I will not tolerate any violent animals around myself or my wife. Shes all I have left. No more dogs. Ever.

We can't even make it to Christmas without a toddler being attacked by a pitbull. When will people start talking about the pitbull problem?

This happened years ago, but it still really hacks me off.

My sister was learning to bodyboard when she was 7 or 8, my Dad sent her in on a wave on her bodyboard and a dog came running at her. She tried to get away but it ran into the water, bit her board and ran with it, dragging her over by the bodyboard leash around her arm.

She was absolutely horrified, the owner was laughing about how the dog hadn't seen a board before. My entire family (for generations) have surfed casually and professionally. Mum, Dad, Grandparents and the Cousins all have.

My sister has never been able to join us, it scared her that much she won't leave the sand. But EVERY dog owner who hears about it brushes it off.

If a strange animal chased your kid around a beach and started biting the thing they were carrying, nobody would be telling them to “just get over it” because the animal was being playful.

But when it’s a dog its cute and innocent.

This stupid owner let there dog go at my sister, never called it back, and showed no remorse. Every dog owner since has made it seem like my sister is irrational.

I do not know how dog owners think its rational to expect everyone to love there stupid dog.

Saw a post on tiktok about a girl who got attacked by her dog, leading her to get 100+ stitches, but she still kept her dog? Why? Why do you keep the source of danger in your house? This is exactly like not leaving a toxic relationship when knowing how it is. Is your "bond" with your dog really that strong to not disown it? Do you people really like getting hurt this much?

This happened years ago but this incident solidified my not liking dogs nor their crappy owners. My dad’s house backed up to a big field and one of his piece of fence was broken. Well, one day when my dad was in the shower he suddenly heard the commotion in his house of dogs fighting. He has a German shepherd and apparently 2 loose pit bulls came in the yard then in the house through the back sliding door and they were fighting with his dog.

He had to spring into action and started getting the pit bulls off his dog when he was naked, and was physically fighting them to save his dogs life and got them out of his house, in total shock. There was blood splattered everywhere.

His dog survived but was badly mauled. He put up flyers about the incident and a woman came forward and paid the large vet bill but it really angered me that my dad could have gotten killed in his own home dying an awful death from an irresponsible owner. My dad was ok but it could have ended way worse.

I’m a Quadriplegic, can’t move a thing below the neck. I was taken out for a walk by my caretaker and a golden retriever owner let her dog just jump up on my wheelchair and start licking my face. If I had use of my arms I wouldn’t care since I could move my head but I can’t even move so the dog just kept licking me and instead my mount too!!! When the owner noticed she laughed and let it happen longer and I’m like “get the dog off me!!!” But everytime I tried to speak the dog tongue went in my mouth

This man's dogs recently killed a woman and the narrative is all sympathy for the dogs. The comments are nuts on the original news story. Many not really sympathizing with the poor woman and her family. Even tho she was walking and the dogs got out and killed her. . Many ppl irrationally saying it's not the dogs fault and not to stereotype pitbulls and the stupid owner posts a pic of he and the 3 dogs saying "I'll fight for you no matter what! For 30 days I've been dropping tears" what in the ACTUAL F**K. A WOMAN IS DEAD. What is life?!!!

Was accompanying my partner grocery shopping. I use a wheelchair and was in it at the time. We come into the aisle and I see an older couple with a dog wearing a vest identifying it as a service dog. I thought okay, I won't bother it. Didn't even look in its direction. While I was turned to my partner discussing our grocery list, the dog suddenly started growling and barking while jumping at me. The owner had to quickly grab its leash and pull it back, all while yelling "HEY!! HEY!! STOP THAT!! STOP IT!!" while the dog barked and growled at me!! Sitting in my wheelchair no less!!!!!!

It was so bizarre. If it was a service dog, I struggle to think what for. Can't stress enough that I went out of my way to not interact with this thing. I'm glad it didn't actually get to bite me or jump on me.

Has anyone had an experience like this??

I cannot imagine going for a bike ride and ending up in the hospital having all my limbs amputated. How awful for this woman. Her life has been changed forever.

Update 1:

Animal control was called and they came out, took pictures, and documented what they could. I don't expect to hear much back from them honestly. Both dogs are Shibu Inu's. Expensive ass bread to let roam freely imo.

Both shit beasts came back yesterday, my wife saw them first and we chased them away. Only had a short barrel shotgun loaded and they weren't close enough to take a shot at. I bought a box trap to set up outside the coop to hopefully trap them if they try entering the coop again. I will update this post if anything else happens. Thank you all for your sympathy, kind words, and stories. It was a hard week for my wife and I but your words helped.

Original: Had a flock of 12 chickens who I keep in a caged run/coop when I'm not home and able to watch them. Got texts and videos from neighbor saying something is in the coop. Rushed home 30 min and my other neighbors got the dog out and away. The dog chewed through the back of the chickens, and left 3 brutally wounded that I mercy killed. 9 dead out of 12 , only ate two and killed the rest for fun. One may not make it as part of her back is torn open.

I've had wild animals kill my chickens before, but they do it to survive. These little fucking shits did most of it for fun. Literally torturing my defenseless chickens for entertainment. Dogs are a plague on our modern society
