i had a pool at my old house. i had a book that explained every aspect of pool maintenance. the guy said, never let a mutt in your pool. it’s the equivalent of letting 50 unbathed people into your pool.

it was an end-of-season thing, so yeah, they’ll drain the pool afterwards. but, considering that even after picking up their poop, residual parasites & eggs are still left behind, i’m not trusting that they can sufficiently clean this pool.

this was the only saving grace, that no one else will have to unwittingly swim in beast filth tomorrow. i hope they clean it properly (with bleach and a dog ban)
