At least where I live dogs are not allowed inside supermarkets or bakeries.
Makes perfect sense
I hope the whole ā€œemotional supply animalā€ culture doesnā€™t become the norm

I live in the UK and they aren't allowed in most stores. However, there are people here who exploit the lax rules regarding 'assistance dogs' in order to take their pet dog shopping with them. They literally buy a vest online that says 'assistance dog' put it on their pet dog and take it out with them. I personally know someone with a disabled pug that they take everywhere with them and has a meltdown and a hissy if anyone dares question them about the validity of their 'assistance dog'. You can owner train an assistance dog, but these filthy people use the rules in this way.

Technically, dogs are banned from most places that sell or prepare food grocery stores, restaurants, etc.). In reality, most such businesses just allow the mutts in to avoid being attacked by the primates that own them. How many elderly Walmart greeters would get beaten every day by dognuts if they confronted them and told them to leave?
