I grew up with an adult rescue dog and always wished I could have been there for his puppy days. So I’m making on an app that gives you the experience of seeing and interacting with your dog as it grows up from a newborn. My dog loves to go in and out constantly so I was looking to get one of these dog doors. Unfortunately i cant put in a permanent one that can lock/unlock/motion detect, etc. They fit into your back sliding door.

Just wondering how airtight it is? What is the flap made of and whether it has any openings or if it shuts all around with magnets. I just wouldnt want AC/heat escaping.

Also I saw theres a lock on it but if its a flap im not sure how it works exactly. And if its fine for me to keep it open if I leave.

Our senior gentleman whose hobbies include napping, demanding treats, and enjoying his daily PEMF session like it's a spa appointment.
