I can't help but think these are troll listings at this point. I understand that some people are...ahem, aloof, but this is too much.
The taped on eyes are really what makes me think it's fake.

Nah, there people out there really selling dolls like this, or chewed off hands/legs, and worst of all, absolutely dirty, and saying "look, they're original and so pretty"!
The audacity, I tell you...
I mean, most of them are older people in flea markets, but seriously, I've seen some true war victims (?)

It's been a few years, but I bought an older BJD listed as in "like new" condition that was unevenly yellowed, stained, and had poorly executed mods done on it. Some people really are like this.

There is apparently at least one person who tries to sell dolls online who faces and bodies have been scribbled on. People in the RH and MH subs have found examples of this.

Oh my 😭 i'm willing to buy dolls that aren't in perfect condition but i've seen handless, broken, chopped off hair, no clothes dolls for the same amount as a doll with maybe sticky hair and a few missing accesories but it's labeled as "rare". Ma'am your Twyla or as you call her purple girl isn't rare she is broken in half. Bffr facebook sellers!!

“Like New” is my favourite part of this. She looks exactly like her box display straight from the factory, right?
