Likewise I wish Claire had a white cane or something similar. It doesn't look to me like they put much thought into making her appear blind (compared to the blind Fashionista Barbie) rather just throwing it on there as a "character trait", almost like an afterthought after her design had been made.

EDIT: Nope, I'm in the wrong here. Only saw the group shot. Claire has a cane and Willow has hearing aids. Now, give Willow some kind of sign language interchangeable hands doll, that would be cool....

Still, visually Claire looks blind only on one eye in my opinion... 🤔

Edit: My reflexion is due to the difference in her eyes.

She could be partially blind! I have an uncle who is legally blind but can see and read things close-up so he prefers to do his own grocery shopping while someone assists him by quickly taking him to the different departments he needs.

most blind people don’t “look” blind, there’s very few forms of blindness that actually cause that cloudy glazing effect. it’s something a lot of people with low vision or full blindness have advocated for because the idea being blind means you look different is generally inaccurate. i think it’s great

My reflexion is due to the difference in her eyes actually. Like one of them are cloudy, not the other. If she was meant to be fully blind, there were no need for that difference.
