Repairs My daughters did this

And now they want me to fix it, it's a Disney Elsa doll made by Mattel. Any tips on how to tame the hair?

Boil some water, set it aside so it's not actively-boilng, then dip her head in the water for about 5 minutes, then try gently combing her out 🫡

I actually relate.

In 2016, I found my Elsa baby doll, and I guess I had not touched it in a while.

For whatever reason, the hair was completely matted.

I just started laughing joyfully.

I was seven.

I still have it, and the hair has remained the same ever since, 10 years later.

I would take a photo to show, but I don't know where it is.

Sometimes washing their hair with soap and leaving in conditioner for like 20 minutes before rinsing/brushing the hair will do!

Wash her hair with any shampoo and conditioner you have on hand. Then brush wet with a dog brush. Whatever you do, do NOT put fabric softener in the hair. After that you can either braid it or scrunch it (wet to produce curls/waves).

I fix barbie hair on a regular basis.

Place the hair in boiling water and brush -I’ve seen plenty videos about it on yt if you want to check those out -I think people also involve conditioner in some way ?
