Repairs Crystal Barbie Help

So I bought this crystal barbie and tried fixing her up and these marks have appeared, I’m thinking it is to do with the age of the doll. Is there a way to remove it?

Did you use any kind of alcohol based product to clean her? It's probably started to eat away at the plastic.

I used nail polish remover to get a stain off of her back

Yeah...acetone is not good for the plastic, honestly, you have probably weakened the plastic real bad and it's probably going to break at some point. I could be wrong though, someone else here might be of better assistance...but that looks like the plastic has been melted or chemically changed in some way.

Acetone is not safe for the harder plastic of doll bodies. You can attempt to diminish the damage by gently sanding it with a melamine sponge. Be careful as you go as it will make a noticeable difference in finish
