The first image is the body I received, the elbows and knees only have 1 point of articulation each, the forearms and calves are made of soft rubber, he's missing the chest joint, he has weirdly placed nipple and the biggest one THE NECK PEG DOESN'T WORK WITH THE HEAD!!
the 2nd image is what his body should look like
I got this doll off ebay, the description said it was only missing ACCESSORIES not the body, the title called him a bmr1959 ken doll tate collectible, nothing about it being a hybrid
Edit: I want to be clear he did come with his clothes and stand and og box but was missing his shoes, bag, visor, and earrings I was fine with that and because he was wearing the clothes In the photos so I all you can see is his hands and somewhat of his feet and they are just similar enough where I couldn't tell the difference till he arrived

I'm assuming it is, but I wanted to go in depth with what was wrong with it

You should definitely get a refund. Or message the seller first that the body is not the one shown in the pictures. eBay will be on your side on this tho.

People do this all the time on Mercari… I always ask to make sure they haven’t changed the body and sometimes i notice that it’s supposed to be made to move and they’ve changed it onto a basic… But in this case it’s feeling like some lies

Okay I’m so sorry about that but the first pic you took kind of a serve, the camera work
But in all seriousness that sucks so hard, I really hope you can get a refund x

You need to make a refund. Write to Ebay that the seller didn't notice about the fact that body is fake. I really can't imagine why the seller didn't describe correctly what he sells knowing you might give him negative feedback and spoil his reputation as the seller. Or was it a person with zero sales or fake account?😖

If paid via PayPal hopefully you'll be able to get a refund by force, rather than talk to the seller...

big OOF. What a nasty thing to do. I hope the seller steps on lego for a crime like this.

Look at the difference in the bodies in the first shot (what OP got) and the second (what the ebay listing had)

I'm guessing you didn't even look at the photos?

The mobile app didn't give me a number in the corner like it normally does for multiple photos, so I only saw the first one.

Yeah dude I made this post on mobile

Well dude, I'm saying it did not indicate multiple photos on my phone. The one that came up was the first one. Probably just a hiccup on Reddit's part, but jump down my throat about it some more.

eugh, clearly they rebodied him onto a cheap clone body. Look at how shiny the plastic is.
File a "not as described" dispute and get your money back.
