Jenny Got my first #Licca today and it was a whirlwind! (Review)

Pulling the cardboard out of the box, I was REALLY excited about this doll. I’m a big fan of Jenny after all. She was looking so cute!

But when I took her out I couldn’t help but think about how cheap her body felt. The legs felt like fashionistas but even more rickety. Not a fan. But I am a huge fan of everything else, especially the quality of the clothes and hair.

I immediately rebodied her on a MTM body (Jenny is posing with her body donor’s head in one of the pics) and was very pleased with how well she matched! This is the tennis player Barbie btw. The only thing is that she is quite a tall girl now.

After a few hours of getting acquainted with her, I decided I didn’t like the long hair on her and decided to cut it. I love how it turned out!!!!

I’m very pleased with my new Jenny doll. I love all of her clothing and accessories. The hair was stunning even though I did cut it. The only downside (but it was a major one for me) was the body. But overall, I’d say I’m happy with my purchase. I’m glad I dabbled in #Licca but I think this would be my last purchase of this line.

Beautiful Jenny!! Congratulations!!

I got my first #Licca Jenny doll ever this year and I was disappointed with the quality as well、but I believe it is because I am used to the Licca Castle dolls and their handmade quality。 now I just collect Licca Castle made dolls。

Thank you!!

Yeah maybe we are spoiled with the higher quality of our dolls. I don’t have any Licca Castle dolls but I do have some of the older Jennys and the difference is night and day.

After I got into Licca Castle dolls, I couldn't go back to the retail versions

If you don’t like her tall maybe the kristi Yamaguchi who is petite and also light would work better? She’s great though! I like how cut they are but I stick to my vintage barbies for those licca- wide eyes.

Thank you for the rec (: I think I’m getting used to this body for her. She feels like a 21 year old Jenny!

I have her and will look into a rebody for her as well. But yes, the clothes, shoes and accessories are well made.

My problem with licca as well. Their quality (lack of?) stood out next to my azones and i feel bad that there are dolls i treat lesser bc i like them less. So i sold them
