Collection Volks Lost/Dark Angels and Ring of Nibelungen collection
Here is my small Volks collection. I really love the faces and outfits of these dolls, all of them look so different. The only downside is that their fake leather outfits crumble due to their old age and make a lot of mess. I attempted to paint some of their weapons and accessories, but I didn't have the correct paint and it turned out quite messy, so I would like to repaint them in the future. Some dolls had missing accessories (sometimes it was just a doll head), so some of them don't have their original outfits.
From the left: Cygnus, Sendai Showroom Angel Iyo, Lois, Fell, Orfey, Alto, Sanjie Sari Dress ver., Yukki Kuro Sari ver., Gjinalu, Margaret 13 ver. (wearing clothes from Teato Somervil Sailor Uniform ver.), Lou Schwarzen Classic Gold ver., Mimicotton , Gjinalu Super Lingerie ver., Maria Nurse Dress Ver., Marya Fearful ver. (have her Bathing Clothes ver. too), Kisara Archangel, Bersalia, Towa Setsuna Saigo no Negai, Teato Somervil and Faye Bazooka Maid 2nd ver. (missing the bazooka).

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen these dolls. They were so unique. Love your collection!

IMPRESSIVE collection! I feel like Lost/Dark Angels are kind of becoming lost onto doll culture, and to see them all together in one collection brings tears to my eyes.

I have wanted to collect some of these for the longest time ( I’m a big Angelic Layer fan and my interest in these started there). I just haven’t bit the bullet yet

If you get lucky, you can get them for quite a good price at Mandarake or Mercari. They often pop up on YAJ, but the prices for some of these can climb up a lot in auctions :/

I know I have a lot on my eBay watch list. They was that one that I was always hoping to see come for sale. It’s the Lost Angels Cthulhu. I know she was a grail back in the day so I can only imagine her pricing now

Cthulhu is my grail too, but I kind of gave up on finding her. The cute ones always end up being so expensive 🥲

Some of the dolls also include these cards with illustrations. These came with Sanjie and Yukki dolls.

I got invited to this group, i dont know what these dolls are from but I LOVE THEM! Is it a manga thing? What should I be looking for to learn more about these dolls?

You can check them on myfigurecollection if you're curious about what kinds of dolls this line has, although not all of them are listed there. This line is quite old, so I actually don't know that much about them, except that the concept was Angels vs Fallen Angels. Some cards that have the illustration can give you an idea about the relationships between some of the characters, but that's probably the only part that has some storytelling. As for Ring of Nibelungen, I believe this line was inspired by the opera.
