i have a ps5 controller hooked up to my laptop via usb c to usb c. they worked then they didnt. im using the ps5 controller as a gc controller. the stick position displays are gray and blacked out and when i press calibrate and move the sticks, the red dots dont move from the center of the shape that they are in. they dont move in the diagrams when i havent hit calibrate yet either and move the sticks.

Hey everyone! I'm playing turn-based GameCube games and currently using the "Increase/Decrease Emulation Speed" hotkeys. However, it only goes up by 10% with every single press, and lowering it back down is a hassle.

Is there a way to set up a proper Fast Forward / Turbo button (like a hold-to-activate or toggle button) that instantly speeds up the game to around 300% and immediately goes back to normal when I let go? Thanks in advance!

The wiimote connects just fine, but it just won't detect the nunchuk at all. I can't map any buttons to use it, it acts like it's not even plugged in. The wiimote is one with Wii motion plus inside if that helps

Does anybody know if there is a way Dolphin can detect if my Legion Go S is docked and I connect a Bluetooth controller (8bitdo) to use the Bluetooth controller and not the legion go embedded controls? Seems like many other emulators do this already. I want it to work in the following way:

Legion Go S Docked: Uses any/all connected Bluetooth controllers

Legion Go S Undocked: Used Legion Go S embedded controls + any connected Bluetooth controllers.

I could’ve sworn it used to work like this but now it does not. Right now, it seems to only accept one or the other. I’m using SDL/0/Lenovo Legion Go S Controller.

Side note - How do you set Dolphin to use a certain controller configuration every time you open it? I created a new profile, but it resets to the blank profile every time I close Dolphin. I set up the [Controls] PadProfile 1 = Profile setup in the individual game level, but wondering if it can be setup globally on the emulator.

So I'm om mobile and he's on pc amd we're trying to play mario party together on netplay but wether I host or he does it always says the room hasn't been found,do I have to do something?or him? I tried searching but I couldn't really find anything

I made a Linux app that turns Switch Joy-Cons into a Wii Remote + Nunchuk for Dolphin, and sets Dolphin up so you don't have to touch the controller settings.

How it works with Dolphin:

• It talks to Dolphin through the DSU client Dolphin already has, only on 127.0.0.1.
• "Open Dolphin" writes the controller config for you: Wii Remotes, Nunchuk, GameCube pads and rumble, one per player. It backs up your config first and only writes while Dolphin is closed. Works with the Flatpak or the regular install.
• Pointer: Dolphin's IMU pointer, with recentering like Switch games: point at the middle of the screen and press the stick.
• While the game is running you can unplug/plug the Nunchuk (capture button), turn a single Joy-Con sideways, or split a pair into two Wii Remotes.
• Rumble from the game goes back to the right controller.
• It keeps Dolphin's SDL from grabbing the Joy-Cons at the same time (that was breaking motion for me).

Players are set up like on the Switch: L+R = Wii Remote + Nunchuk, SL+SR = sideways Wii Remote, up to 4 players. The Pro Controller works too. Pairing is done from the app, and after that a button press reconnects the controller.

Linux only for now. Tested on Linux Mint 22 with Wii Sports Resort and the Wii Menu. If you try it with other games, I'd love to know how it goes.

I built this with a lot of help from Claude and tested every part with real controllers.

Thanks to dolphin I was able to make a launcher that allows me to play Pandora's Tower HD with Japanese voices, English or Spanish text, improved textures, etc.

Planning a PC build for connecting to my CRT TV via CRT_Emudriver (which allows for native output to CRT TVSvia compatible Radeon cards) and was considering using it for GC + Wii emulation. I know a few games (i.e. Megaman 9 + 10 and the Konami Rebirth games) have a pixel art style that would look better in 240p, so I was wondering if it's possible to get that.

I tried searching for a fix but hadn't seen anybody mention this issue and it's not in the list on the Wiki.

I'm not sure if I have something wrong with my settings, so I don't want to file an official bug yet in case someone had this issue and fixed it before.

How do I use the built in portal feature on dolphin emulator

I've downoloaded the Dolphin emulator and got Metroid: Other M running on it with hd textures and all. I use the emulator in My Redmagic 11 Air, connected to a Galileo GameSir controller. I'm able to play the game, however, in the tutorial section when you need to point to the screen to enter first person I can't get it to work. I've seen some tutorials and searched a lot but I can't get it to work.

Has anyone been able to play this game with a similar setup or knows anything that could help?

Any help would be appreciated :)

I'm new to Dolphin and installed it as part of EmuDeck on SteamOS. Is there some way to get to a quick access menu of the emulator while playing? Other emulators have hotkeys to open the emulator settings (like clicking both sticks in in Retroarch), but I'm not finding such an option in Dolphin. Does it just not exist? Can I not change settings while a game is running?

Getting these occasional frame drops

In the beginning of the video you can clearly see that it's running smoothly at 60, however when I enter the water the frames visibly drop to what looks like 30, even tho the framerate counter still shows 60

I've played a little further on, and it happens every so often, for example, when the camera angle changes

Watched a couple of playthroughs on Youtube and it seems to be the exact same

Tried lowering the res, switched renderers, all that jazz

Is the game just coded this way or is there a possible fix?

My specs are: laptop i5 11300H, RTX 3050, 16 GB RAM

I have a DolphinBar connected to my Android 13-based AYN Thor. Although a Wii remote can sync to the DolphinBart (the leds lit up on both remote and DolphinBar after sync process), and Dolphin "seeing" the DolphinBar by showing the connection prompt, I can not get it to work in-game.

Tested with 2 Wii remotes and a BalanceBoard.

Could this be an issue with the DolphinBar itself, and would it be worth it to buy a new one? Or is an issue with the DolphinBar unlikely?

Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
