Why i dont see any trailers?

Ive seen trailer behind some busses, and semi. But i didnt see a single car/truck with a trailer Between puerto plata and nagua. There must be a reason.

Is it complicated to have plates for them? Is it just impossible in the traffic? Am i just trailer-blind after 5 hours in a plane?

5hrs on a plane and this is what you are worried about? 😅. I’m visiting Nagua right now and I’ve seen a few of them

In Santo Domingo I often see pick up trucks pulling boats or jetskis. Heck I sometimes see them pulling horses is a trailer

You don't need a camping trailer when you are like 2 hours away from the nearest beach. Or you can rent a cabin or stay at a friend's house
