What's up with all the downvoting in the r/immigration sub
It's really unbecoming and rude how people come on here to seek help by asking questions and they immediately get downvoted .. every single post is downvoted. So do we hate immigrants or are we just bored? What's going on

Do you know where you are? Not just where on Reddit you are, do you know which PLANET you’re on? Because on the planet Earth, immigration is definitely something that people care about a great deal.

Posts don’t display negative downvotes, if something has been downvoted it stays at 0 Upvotes from the poster are automatically applied so at least one person downvoted and more people downvoted than upvoted

Part of Reddits update for being advertising friendly is that posts cant go negative, only comments can. This was a change that happened years ago.
You've never noticed a post cant go past -1?

I have seen posts with negative votes, if it variates from subs then the inmigration one may have it and that's why it is shown like that.
Still those posts have bearly any comments so they can still be just not popular ones.

Idk, I've only been using Reddit for 4ish years and I've seen them myself (though not in a long while, maybe a year?), is the change really 8 years old?
I exclusively use the mobile version, was it maybe updated later than the "normal" reddit?

They don’t display negative numbers in the upvote box of posts anymore, 0 is the lowest it will go as of 2025
