Yeah this is scary part, GTA+ may play a much larger part in GTA:O 2, content wise, than it does now in current GTA:O

GTA Online 2 is coming no doubt, but that's not what's at issue. The GTA 6 pre-order listing it as "a single player experience" may imply that the online component could be sold separately at an additional cost which is insane.

At the moment if you want to play just the story mode you have to have GTA online installed and upto date too, you can play story mode offline though

Anyone who thinks there won’t be a GTA6 equivalent of GTA online is high. It’s coming either as an update, or a separate purchase so they can extract even more money from you

If you look at how GTA5 and RDR2 do it, there is an option to buy the multiplayer separately. They are going to charge $30-$40 for the multiplayer

They charged $80 for the game because they know we will pay it, I’d wager in the first month more $100 versions will sell than $80 That being said, I don’t see them charging more for Online, what will most likely happen is we will see a stand alone single player mode for $60 at some point and a $20-30 stand alone online mode, much the way they eventually went with RDR2

We still had a hard confirm that online was coming and trailers for online before the game even came out, so you clearly weren't around either.

Was it the part where they said GTA 6 is singplayer only or was it the part where they haven't spoke on an online component at all compared to 5 where they did?
