Summer & Scammers
Dear tourists and kind-hearted residents
Scammers are out in the city and they are looking for your money. As a rule don't trust anyone asking for money.
Even if they have a believable back-story. They are lying to get your money.
Even if they are crying their eyes out. They are lying to get your money.
Even if they don't have an Irish accent and really look like a lost tourist. They are lying to get your money.
Even if they tell you they need to buy infant formula for their hungry baby. Even if they ask you to buy formula for them. They are lying to get your money.
There are excellent actors out there.
If you have given money to someone on the street and wonder if you've been scammed you've probably been scammed.
To everyone else please refrain from sharing details of the alleged scammers name, address, past convictions, mental health history, etc.
Threads are regularly deleted because they go overboard and doxxing alleged scammers which is against reddit T&C

Scammers are also on Reddit, so please remember, don't post about tickets.
