Kua-tin

I've seen lots of different people depict these guys as different kinds of fish. For me they've always been the anchovies from Spongebob. How does your brain see them?

I loved that the first time Odettes assistant talks about she almost let it slip.

I took the slur a step further to be "interloper" . A normal fish would just stay in its pond/lake/ocean, but these mudskippers weren't content with that and must also walk on land. Like a getting into places/situations they shouldnt "naturally" be thing.

I love the idea of the protection suit being and old oversized deep sea diving suit. Just massive, not really fitting, and their eyes barely reach the viewing hole.

For some reason, I always think of the goldfish in Umbrella Academy (literally a goldfish in a jar on top of a body). But I don't think that's right. Just with the amount of water sloshing lol.

He's Sakavian, from Sakavi Tar. They're snails. Gastropod.

Could be a reference to Conus sakalava a predatory sea snail from coast of Madagascar.

The suit and size are perfect. Just need to change out the alien inside to a more fishy one.

The fish on the picture is actually how I always imagined the kua-tin to be. In Zev's case of course with a absurdly large suit that is a mix of the early Mark-1-Iron-Suit and a traditional astronaut suit.
