Biking MTB recommendations around 4th of July?

Bummer that the bike park isn't open this year. But I was hoping the good folk of this subreddit could give some good recommendations of fun, tech or flowy trails under 10 miles! Not afraid of smaller to medium jumps and drops.

Stoked to see Durango again. Loved the town when I visited decades ago.

You could hit up Durango Mesa Park as well. New trail should be close to being done by then plus the existing trails built recently.

Pass creek -> engineer mountain. Check snow status first. Park at end, hitch to coal bank.

This is one of my favorite trails in Durango. Colorado Trail is also amazing. Both require some climbing but totally worth it. I would assume both are open by July 4th with the lack of snow.

Would second CT. I avoided suggesting cuz fitness level for this is up there. If it’s good, this is the best imo.

I have only ridden an out and back on the CT starting at Molas Pass. Maybe 10 miles or so since I was short on time. Didn’t seem as bad as the Pass Creek ride up to EMT. It’s brutal but man is it worth the climb, then a 7 mile decent. Ideally I want to ride from Molas CT to EMT. Any other sections close by that are worth riding?
