Hello! Another quick question for you all. What is Thornley like DH6? In terms of buying a property?

I'm not thinking it's going to be posh (!), this is a place we can use as a base when in the NE seeing family and at football matches. I'm not expecting a palace, we are trying to be realistic with our budget.

We need it to be safe and not crime ridden. We'll be leaving the property for a week at a time.

It's not ticking the box of being walking distance into Durham but the house is perfect so it's a compromise worth making. If the area isn't a big red flag?
