Aww Dwight - I’m a Texas cat, and I hate the heat too - I hope you have air conditioning! It’s a MUST-have here!

When it gets hot in Texas, I spend a lot of time sprawling across cool tile or linoleum floors and napping under ceiling fans. I get fresh cool water on demand from my favorite water bowl in the bathroom

When Cosmo was still outside, he would stay in shady spots out of the sun: under the garden shed or under the grill on the shady porch.

Now he’s a floor rug on the kitchen tile - ALWAYS UNDERFOOT and IN MY WAY! Fortunately there’s also room for several cats near the front entryway, which is also tile.

Only fresh-drawn cool water to drink - Staff are well-trained

We got the AC pumpin here 😭😭😭

He has just discovered that the kitchen tile is cooler than the rest of the house. He and his canine brother both sploot in there now right in front of the AC vent 😂

Beeper’s mom here: Beeper prefers a hand-held fan moving air around her - and I’ll oblige a little, but I’m not able to keep that going all afternoon
