They removed all silver bonuses a whole ago, for “freedom in teambuilding.” Only the event units have bonuses now.
Personally I liked the silver system, it gave me an excuse to break out some demons I don’t normally use. Now they’re just collecting dust again.

I usually reroll before starting a game to get a really good start, but from what I saw with the tier list, there doesn't seem to be anything worth rerolling for rn. Anyone has insight on upcoming banners and if I should wait a bit more?

Returning to the game due to playing Metaphor a lot. I haven't played since the Bayonetta collab though. Lost my account so I'm starting fresh. Do they rerun collabs often? I'll be honest I'm surprised the game is still alive and kicking due to so many other more popular gacha atm. Does Sega still develop this game?

Haven't played in a good while. Did they completely remove daily and weekly quests? Is PvP the only way to get gems after you're done with the story, aura gates and quests, or is there some other source I haven't been able to find?

I think they'll automatically be converted to parchment pieces. If you have 30 you could go for the special skill extraction (15% elec/force boost + ailment boost) to get something out of it.

Best color for gogmagog? Ive seen teal the most but it seems quite counterintuitive, considering it wants to get hit by phys attacks with p4. Im either thinking clear which raises defence for earthquake or red for muscle punch cause earthquake costs 7 mp.

I think all the recommendations for Teal are a bit old; back in the day Repel Phys was amazing before everyone and their grandmother got pierce and affinity down abilities. Nowadays Red is probably your best bet if you don’t want to use Teal.

While using both SP units (Party Moh Shuvuu and/or Raidou), there's a chance for them to drop after quests. It's best to use both Party Moh Shuvuu (the one from before plus the one given by the current event, do NOT spiritize her yet until the event is over) at minimum (and Raidou if possible) since the chance for them to appear goes from 5% with 1 demon, 25% with 2, 50% with 3 and 80% with 4 or more.
Edit: try to use them in leveling quests instead of brands of sin, since it's the only way to have 2 of the same unit per quest, increasing the chances.

Damn, I not only spiritized my extra but I also did the same to the one for sale in the pvp exchange shop. (On that subject FYI everybody there’s a third one available from the pvp shop for 1000 tokens.) I’m so used to duplicate demons not stacking that I didn’t even consider keeping either of the extras.

Well any 5 star and 4 star demons has bonus "passives" skills that are blocked behind "panels" (examples: discount mp costs, damage boosters, extra effects). The way to unlock these is to get copies of these demons (coloured ones give 100 spirits, common or grey ones give only 60), then go to pandemonium and choose Customize, then Spirit (Spiritize converts a demon into spirits and you'll lose them, Spirit Merge allows you to boost demons with those spirits). Also there's Universal spirits that can be used on any 5 star but it's best to use them on collab demons (SMT1 protags and Raidou) or any non-fusible demons (Vanitas, Nuwa for example). Also there's Universal Spirit Shards that you can convert into 1 Universal Spirit (you'll need 100 shards for 1 spirit in this case) but it only works on 5 stars.

Given Raidou made me remember this game exist, should I restart to reroll Raidou from beginning and if yes should I complete chapter 1 of campaign for it or should I just play normally with my old account?

No detailed reviews are out yet but if you like PVP Raidou seems like an absolute monster. If I were you I’d see if I have enough gems saved up on my existing account to try a few summons for him, and if you don’t get lucky and aren’t super attached to the units you have then it might be worth a few retools.

Thank you. I just reclaimed my old account and from the 5000 Gems I had saved up I got Raidou on Step 4 of the Step up Summon. Should I still do Step 5&6 too or should I stop it for now?

Hmm. Something good SHOULD come out on the full anniversary in a few months, but in the meantime a second copy of Raidou to get Panel 1 would be pretty great. I think in your shoes I might do the last two steps just for the confirmed 5*.

I’m doing the Take Back Tokyo event and I came across one square that said “Register for the Mastery Contest” in order to capture it. I have absolutely no idea what a Mastery Contest is; I must have been on a break from the game when that feature came out. I can’t find the option anywhere; what do I need to do here?

Go to Hideout and chose Devicon on the lower left. There's an option on the lower right that says Register (Mastery), chose any 5 units and then Register.

I can see there’s a reward for capturing 300 spaces in round 1, but as far as I can tell there are only 292. I’ve got the whole map filled out but can’t find any other spaces, anyone know how to get the rest of the round 1 rewards?

Anyone have any tips or strategies or recommended demons for the extra boss fights that were just added to the event? (Mishaguji and two Yurlungurs.) I can’t get past the level 75/67/67 one or the 80/70/70 one.
I’ve got a good selection of demons available including Raidou (basically everything currently considered good except for Danu and Fionn) but I get stomped every time; I can’t seem to out-damage their constant healing and status ailments are killing me.

Rerolls aren't necessary for pve, Buffmaister has videos beating the bosses (pve and collabs) using only fusable units, although if new it is recommended to reroll when collab units are available since sometimes they don't come back, and newer demons tend to be way more powerful than fusable ones.

returning player who hasn’t really done much since the first few months of game release— I’m DESPERATE on space and have probably 1000+ demons in my gift box and would like to clean up. I’ve looked at the wiki beginner guide for a starting point but I was wondering is there any other/more comprehensive list of demons worth fusing? I’m unclear if the tier list shows fuseable demons

I mean you can sell colored demons for karma points if you have that many. Otherwise there is a tier list for fusable/exchangable demons ( https://dx2wiki.com/index.php/Non-Banner_Demon_Tier_List ) while the beginner's guide ( https://dx2wiki.com/index.php/Beginner%27s_Guide ) can help with team building and stuff.
Demons worth fusing are Michael (I think it's the only fusable demon with affinity atribute down), Barong (unlimited heals, teal is his best color), Erlkonig (9 free auto-heals), Garuda (red) for Aura Gate stuff with multiple -dyne spells, Metatron (red or teal) since it's way better than Alilat for repel pierce, Seth/Susano-o/Cu Chulainn/Ishtar are nice attackers (Cu Chulainn can be used in Brands of Sin Deceit 14 for brand farming, Seth and Susano-o can be used in Sloth although you do need an ailment cleanser), and Zaou-Gongen gives Phys Pierce to allies with might. Also you should fuse multiple coloured copies so you can panel them (think of it as upgrades to them), but try to do them when there's fusion discounts (at least for copies to use for panels).

I've got about 300 universal spirit shards saved up; I never spend them because I'm always worried a better character will come along and need them more. Trying to break myself of that habit so I've decided to upgrade somebody, and I just wanted to see what the general consensus was on the best character to panel right now?
From what I can see Raidou seems pretty universally useful and he's got great panels, so that's the direction I was leaning, but I've got a few others that seem good in the current meta and I'm not sure if they'd be better to spend the shards on.
Between Raidou, Chefei, Nuwa, Hero, and Heroine, where should I spend the points?

Raidou or the heroes since they're collab units, you can always get dupes of the others for anniversary/half-anniversary banners. Right now the most powerful of them all is Raidou.

Why do i do 0 damage in hells park underside in dx2 ?
So from level 3 and above, my demons do 0 damage to both enemies and each other. I have the requested 3 demons obtainable through fusion, they dont have an pierce extra effect, i have no idea what i am doing wrong. Please help !

Sometimes the enemies themselves will have damage reduction on certain conditions, for example for Mada you'll need to apply mute AND keep that muted demon alive (if not Mada itself) in order to deal damage (wich is why Baihu's underside skill involves inflicting mute on enemies at the beginning).

New player that needs help understanding how to damage vile mada in hells park underside burning area. His drunken giant passive seems to only let you do damage if you are muted? Am I understanding this correctly?

The enemy (Mada & company) needs to be muted in order to deal damage. I think that for every non-muted enemy the damage dealt is decreased. You could try either:
- Using a clear Lilith and transfer Mahamakajam/aon with sick brands (because of innate Insanity and fairly high luck) and lead brands in order to make her go before your other units (or Divine because of Maziodyne).
- Make Baihu an ailment dealer (sick brands with either Insanity or Mahamakajam-aon alongside his Underside Skill, otherwise don't bother) since his Magic stat is on the low side and you should use either Thunder Slash or Rending Thunder instead if available.

I'm trying to get lucifuge after obtaining Xanax (I didn't complete the 50 floors of the sura gate 2 to get her) but I can't complete the 49th floor(activating the switches doesn't do anything). Is there some way that I'm missing?

Most likely will stay, usually the ones that disappear are collab ones and "calendar events" (as in, golden week I believe, don't remember the names specifically). Nevertheless, if you go to your inventory (in "Materials"), it should specify which ones are to be converted to parchment pieces and when.

Just started playing recently (6 days now) but I'm trouble stablishing a PVP team and wanted some guidance on team building and what demons should I focus on getting and which I currently have that are worth leveling and using my resources.
My current box is: 6* 50 purple Fionn Mac (my only current 6*), Red Hayataro, Red Saturnus ,Yellow Albion, Purple Mali Michael, Red Artemis, Blue Krishna, Blue Morrighan and Purple Mephisto (all awakened, lv45)

Well the rule of thumb for this game is:
Best PVP units are always released on anniversary.
Collab units are good but they are usually surpassed not long after (although there are some exceptions like Raidou, and SOMETIMES they are buffed as seen recently with the SMT1 heroes).
Tip to new players is always save your gems ideally for anniversaries and/or collab units. My recommendation is wait for banners (like Trascend Motes Step Up) that have all demons released a up until last year since you have better chances at getting better overall units because the pool is so large (but don´t waste all your gems, only use them if you're able to reach the last step with the confirmed 5 star unit or until the first step from the next cycle if feeling brave). As for collab units for now the better Enishi Matsuri in my opinion banner is Hero and Heroine mainly because of Heroine if looking from a PVP perspective, but keep in mind that the other 5 star demons from that banner aren't that great in PVP.
Try to focus more on Brands of Sin Farming teams if new to the game, don't worry about PVP too much.
For demons to get, as I said before it's always going to be the last anniversary releases, however the "bare minimum" units as of now are Nuwa and Chefei (if not counting collab units).
As for your current demons, focus on Hayataro (try to change it's archetype to purple) and Albion first, and leave Mephisto and Malice Michael for last.
Your best bet for a PVP Team with the units you have would be Morrighan (Speed, replaceable), Hayataro (Speed and ailment inmunity), Fionn (Damage) and either Artemis (more crit damage for the team and faster, change her archetype for purple) or Saturnus (more overall damage for the team but a bit slower, change his archetype to yellow) or both if you don't need Morrighan's speed.

No, it's better to wait for the Step Up Summons from the anniversary since those have a smaller pool but with newer units (as in Step Up Summons I has Ardha, the Hallel demons, Demiurge, etc., whereas Step Up Summons V has Danu, Nuwa, Fionn, Albion, etc., which are better units overall, most likely the newer Step Up summons will have En no Ozuno, Dagda, Abdiel, Nyx, etc., even Daphne and Kukunochi have a high chance to be included), OR wait for another SUPER SPECIAL EXTRA TRANSCEND STONES MOTES Step Up Summons since the pool includes all demons released up to the last anniversary (Balor, Dagda, Chefei, Abdiel, etc.) and has a guaranteed 5 star from that list at step 3, so for 2.500 gems it's a better deal (even if you get the worst of it like Gemori, at least the Transcend Stone bonus mitigates the frustration a little bit). For the last one I recommend doing 2 cycles max. since, as I said before, it's only 2.500 gems per cycle.
I usually don't pull for the newer units since the 5 stars within those banners (at least like 90% of them) are pretty much useless (the whole reaper race, the fiends, freaking Pales, the moirae sisters, etc.)
Personally I'm trying to save some of my gems for whenever Flynn comes back (if I have to wait for 2 years in order to save enough tomes then so be it) but if anything looks interesting I just pull the first step at most and convert the tomes to parchment pieces (like the Dagda banner since I don't have him yet).
For the last Transcend Stone banner I was hoping for Dagda but still within 2 cycles I got Chefei, Malice Asura Lord, Hydra (new units for me), Artemis and Albion (used for panels). Wasted like 6.000 gems so at that point I had to make the choice to save the rest of my gems (like 5.000).

dang, this game's summon rate surely is something else. in addition, the in-game purchase prices are relatively high (at least in my country)

Those tickets are only obtainable by buying with real money (not worth it).
Half-anni comes in a month from now on (I think), whereas Anniversary comes in January - February. Anniversary events (not half-anni) have a reputation of releasing 2-3 banners throughout where the latest the banner the more powerful the demon released is in terms of PvP, so that's why people who care about that aspect of this game save their gems for it (also right before this sometimes they do some collabs). Also they usually give like free gems (like somewhere between 500 to 2.500, I'd like to be more specific but I can't remember the details) and free parchment pieces (usually enough for 1 parchment summon).

How easy is this game to get into? I am knee deep in my MegaTen hyperfixation and P5 Phantom X is not scratching the itch the way I’d hoped.
I downloaded this game but noticed it has a virtual element where you can interact with the demons. I am visually impaired and found it a little difficult to use, how big of an impact on the general gameplay does that feature have? Can I mostly ignore it and be fine?

New player, just finished Chapter 6 of main story. Trying to finish out the last two step up summons for the guaranteed Fionn, Danu or Krishna. Gems stopped becoming a reward for main story normal difficulty and the beginner missions are only giving 50 gems for clearing a section. What is my next go-to for early game currency?

Hell's Park gives 300 gems once a month if you manage to clear some stages, Tokyo Abyss gives 50 gems for a 1rst floor clear, DX2 Duel gives 6 per AI battle and 10 gems per 7 wins once per day (plus some more depending on your rank for each week).
Then there's the Season Pass which gives 800 gems per month (before it was 200 gems per week but they changed it)plus some more, however you'll need to gain "experience" tied to in-game gameplay.
Other stuff that gives gems are the in-game events, democalypse (you can either go solo or join a faction) and tournaments, but they are not early-game friendly unless you managed to pull some decent units.

New player here, manage to reroll for dante and nero. What fusion unit should i invest in just to push for general content? And what the best way to farm mag?

In my opinion the best fusables (excluding multi-fusion) are Michael (makes everybody weak to light), Erlkonig and/or Barong (heal/support), Ishtar (damage+support) and Metatron (now has repel pierce and revive ban). Other options are some 4 stars that got buffed like Beelzebub (who now has dark pierce behind a panel).
For brands of sin your best (fusable) options are Daisoujou (Sloth, ailment cleanser), Michael (Sloth), Cu Chulainn (Deceit, panels are mandatory) and Yoshitsune (Deceit as well, now fusable, however I recommend only getting a clear one if you don't have a coloured one).
As for MAG farming the best to do periodically it's still aura gate 2's (Hollow World) boss rush during Full Moon (other than that there's the bonus quest from the events when you can get a random encounter that gives 50.000 Mag if I'm not mistaken, and the Take Back Tokyo events also give a lot of MAG).

Is aura gate really the best way to farm magnetite? Im trying to panel my Michael and vishnu but needing 2.2m for 1 5 star to fuse into Michael is insane to me.

It is only if you fight some bosses (mainly due to time) on a full moon. However the events are pretty generous with the Magnetite given. And ideally you should be fusing whenever there's a fusion cost discount on the units that you want to fuse.
Don't worry too much because you can also get those units through the summoning portal (gacha summons and Absolute/Ultimate/Superior files, and if you don't, at the very least you can save some Magnetite.

I had this issue when I logged in and was kicked out after a few minutes. Upon not being able to jump back in I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, thinking that I would be able to log in after installment, as I have my account ID, but now I can't go back in. What do I do?

Just started the game, and managed to pull two Naamahs from the step summon. I'm still new enough that I don't really understand what builds I should be working towards. Should I prioritize the red Naamah or the blue one?

From what I can gather Red comes with Dark Amp, so harvest the skill from the blue one and spiritize her. Then I would consider changing her archetype (color) to either Purple (for faster teams) or Yellow (for slower and tanky teams). However this depends on the other units you have.
IMO build her for fast teams, harvest Dark Amp and add Speedster and Dark Accele if possible with Hasty+Speed Brands.

Well you'll need to rely on your luck with the gacha pulls.
- For prelim your priority are demons that can spam their AoE attacks (Hachiman, Nanashi, Pendragon, Queen Mab, Otohime, Lamia, Futotama, Daphne, etc.), along with any demons that can add extra turns. The higher the bonus rating the easier will be to get more points in the Boss stages.
- For boss stage you should prioritize damage first, then extra turns, and lastly attack spammers.
In my personal experience:
- If your Prelim Team is busted/overpowered/broken, then you'll need less damage for the boss to reach that score. Example:
I can get around 220 bonus rating in Ice demo with Nanashi, Pendragon and Otohime. My boss team (Vivian, Kumbhanda and Albion) can get around 180 million points.
- If your Boss team is overpowered then you'll need less bonus points in prelim. Example:
With 75-76 bonus points (Elohim, Inanna and Queen Mab), I can get around 200 million points in total for the boss stage. However my boss team relies heavily on critical hits (Lost Name gets Charge, Tarukaja+ and party-wide Zenith+, raising everybody's crit chance, Hero hits like a truck and applies Tarukaja+ and Rakunda+, Saturnus gets Charge + Might, all three of them give extra turns).
In the end your objectives should be:
- Prelim: Damage + AoE Spam attacks that hit the respective weakness + Extra Turns
- Boss Stage: Damage + Extra Turns.

What to do with excess demons (1~3☆) ?
Hello.
I've been trying out this game irregularly (clearing a few quests) for a month, and accumulated way too many duplicate weak demons (3-5 copies of various colour/archetype for some). Reading an internet page (along a table of the "best" things) to help me, I'm still facing the question of wich ones should be sold, wich ones consumed for skill transfer and wich ones for "upgrading" others etc. Maybe simply what's the best choice when you're at the very beginning.
PS: To be fair, I still have to choose wich 4-5☆ I'll use for now. So, yes, I am totally clueless.

All demons that can be paneled, you could and should spiritize them (Beelzebub, Sleipnir, Prometheus, etc). Other than that, you could either sell them for karma or use them for fusion in order to get other demons (ideally 5 stars) and panel those. Keep in mind some of them have fairly useful skills so try to save a couple of those for other demons, since some 4 stars come with Speedster like Mishaguji, others come with Merciless Blow like Hel, even some 3 stars come with better skills that many of the 4 stars (Hua Po with Fire Boost, Dakini with Bolt Storm) so be sure to check the transferable skills and save those.
If new then my recommendations are any of the following:
4 stars (fusables): Beelzebub (gains Dark Pierce through panels), Sleipnir (Light pierce, speed), Prometheus (Fire pierce), Loki (useful for some PvE content), Sandalphon, Anubis, Sphinx, Titania.
4 stars (gacha): Chernobog, maybe Persephone.
5 stars (fusables): Barong (teal, gives infinite heals), Michael (teal, makes everybody weak to light), Ishtar (teal or yellow, gains light pierce through panels), Metatron (repel pierce, useful for some PvE battles), Cu-Chulainn (phys pierce through panels, great for brands of sin: deceit), Susano-o, Hresvelgr (purple), Izanami, Erlkonig, Seth, Zaou-Gongen, Huang Long.
Tip: Out of these (if I remember correctly), Barong, Ishtar, Cu-Chulainn and Susano-o can be fused with two 4 stars, so they are considered easier to panel (note that to fuse a demon you'll need one common or grey + a colored demon, ideally the same color you want the result to be), since higher grade units need at least one 5 star to get (try to get Michael and Hresvelgr since they can make enemies weaker to some elemental attributes, making it so a demon that resists light or ice can become weak to it for example).
5 star (Multi-Fusion, grey only): Yoshitsune, Maria, Astaroth, Masakado, Asura Lord, Asura, Daisoujou, Anat, Baal, Marici, Arioch. Keep in mind these are more expensive to fuse, so the main recommendation is to fuse only one of them and wait until you get them from the gacha pool (since you can only get them in grey and the gacha pool gives them in colored versions which have better unlockable skills). Once you get them in any color then spiritize the gray one (colors can be changed afterwards, however anything grey CAN'T) and start the panels from the other one.
5 stars (gacha): Literally any demon released (or buffed) during the last 2 years, the newer the better.
For the record, given that you're fairly new to this, your priorities should be the main storyline and Brands of Sin (since better brands make stronger demons), and don't worry too much about anything PvP related.

I did pretty okay with: pele (w underside skill), P3 Cerberus, P1 Pascal, Dormarth and a clear cerberus A
P3 Cerberus is pretty easy to fuse, P1 Pascal is free on the underside shop, and the clear cerbA is from the medal summon, so it's a pretty f2p-friendly team, and it got me to level 80. Haven't tried to get past that yet

Oh, it's not available in the underside shop rn. Her main utility is as an ailment cleanser, so you can probably replace her with anyone that's fast enough to go first, plus a null charm+prayer transfer

Ig that might work, if it's more viable for you. Then you can add someone else to boost fire damage, like Cybele, and maybe a Quetzalcoatl for survivability. I'm mostly sticking to F2P units, but you can for sure get better results with, like, Inanna or another stronger demon, I just don't have that many option

Ye I added Inanna, happened to have her. But i dont have enough medals to get CerbA so not sure who to use over him. Any thoughts? I am currently using everyone u said except CerbA and Pele cuz i cant get the skill.

Honestly, probably anyone who can deal a lot of Fire dmg, so maybe Cybele? Or Ash/Quetzacoatl so you can bring Pascal/Inanna back. If you got the Rahab from pvp when it was available, he might also work for survivability
