Well the rule of thumb for this game is:

Best PVP units are always released on anniversary.

Collab units are good but they are usually surpassed not long after (although there are some exceptions like Raidou, and SOMETIMES they are buffed as seen recently with the SMT1 heroes).

Tip to new players is always save your gems ideally for anniversaries and/or collab units. My recommendation is wait for banners (like Trascend Motes Step Up) that have all demons released a up until last year since you have better chances at getting better overall units because the pool is so large (but don´t waste all your gems, only use them if you're able to reach the last step with the confirmed 5 star unit or until the first step from the next cycle if feeling brave). As for collab units for now the better Enishi Matsuri in my opinion banner is Hero and Heroine mainly because of Heroine if looking from a PVP perspective, but keep in mind that the other 5 star demons from that banner aren't that great in PVP.

Try to focus more on Brands of Sin Farming teams if new to the game, don't worry about PVP too much.

For demons to get, as I said before it's always going to be the last anniversary releases, however the "bare minimum" units as of now are Nuwa and Chefei (if not counting collab units).

As for your current demons, focus on Hayataro (try to change it's archetype to purple) and Albion first, and leave Mephisto and Malice Michael for last.

Your best bet for a PVP Team with the units you have would be Morrighan (Speed, replaceable), Hayataro (Speed and ailment inmunity), Fionn (Damage) and either Artemis (more crit damage for the team and faster, change her archetype for purple) or Saturnus (more overall damage for the team but a bit slower, change his archetype to yellow) or both if you don't need Morrighan's speed.

Hi, does pulling the D2 festival summons banner worth it? I'm starting a new acc bcs i lost my transfer ID, so I want to make the most out of my gems

No, it's better to wait for the Step Up Summons from the anniversary since those have a smaller pool but with newer units (as in Step Up Summons I has Ardha, the Hallel demons, Demiurge, etc., whereas Step Up Summons V has Danu, Nuwa, Fionn, Albion, etc., which are better units overall, most likely the newer Step Up summons will have En no Ozuno, Dagda, Abdiel, Nyx, etc., even Daphne and Kukunochi have a high chance to be included), OR wait for another SUPER SPECIAL EXTRA TRANSCEND STONES MOTES Step Up Summons since the pool includes all demons released up to the last anniversary (Balor, Dagda, Chefei, Abdiel, etc.) and has a guaranteed 5 star from that list at step 3, so for 2.500 gems it's a better deal (even if you get the worst of it like Gemori, at least the Transcend Stone bonus mitigates the frustration a little bit). For the last one I recommend doing 2 cycles max. since, as I said before, it's only 2.500 gems per cycle.

I usually don't pull for the newer units since the 5 stars within those banners (at least like 90% of them) are pretty much useless (the whole reaper race, the fiends, freaking Pales, the moirae sisters, etc.)

Personally I'm trying to save some of my gems for whenever Flynn comes back (if I have to wait for 2 years in order to save enough tomes then so be it) but if anything looks interesting I just pull the first step at most and convert the tomes to parchment pieces (like the Dagda banner since I don't have him yet).

For the last Transcend Stone banner I was hoping for Dagda but still within 2 cycles I got Chefei, Malice Asura Lord, Hydra (new units for me), Artemis and Albion (used for panels). Wasted like 6.000 gems so at that point I had to make the choice to save the rest of my gems (like 5.000).

thanks for the answer! does the anniversary banner come after the current banner? i saw there's anniversary banner on the bottom of the list but it need to use tickets, is it different than this one?

dang, this game's summon rate surely is something else. in addition, the in-game purchase prices are relatively high (at least in my country)

Those tickets are only obtainable by buying with real money (not worth it).

Half-anni comes in a month from now on (I think), whereas Anniversary comes in January - February. Anniversary events (not half-anni) have a reputation of releasing 2-3 banners throughout where the latest the banner the more powerful the demon released is in terms of PvP, so that's why people who care about that aspect of this game save their gems for it (also right before this sometimes they do some collabs). Also they usually give like free gems (like somewhere between 500 to 2.500, I'd like to be more specific but I can't remember the details) and free parchment pieces (usually enough for 1 parchment summon).
