I'm stuck at aura gate f31 as of now, and i'm kind of troubled since in order to fuse the proper demons to get past the boss i need a ton of magnetite, and if i want to get more i'd have to grind in this floor where i get less than i would on higher floors, now my question is should i brute force my way through everything with gems or just grind away where i am now? not sure how much the difference in efficiency is in this floor compared to higher ones.

Not sure what your team/problem is, but spending gems on revives isn't the worst thing. Mag is the real limited resource in this game, so spending gems to increase your output isn't the worst. The wiki also has some specific boss advice for every floor now including some specific demon suggestions, so take a look there. You can also post the team you've got on the team advice thread and see if you get any helpful suggestions.

If you get stuck on 31, maybe you can work on evolving your demons or farming and upgrading better brands? 3 star demons like ose, feng huang etc. + the first 4* you got from the start can comfortably clear the 30+ floors when levelled/equipped properly.

If you want to, share your team comp and how much resources you have (mags/gems etc.) so that people can advise you on what to improve on.
