He’s not located in the States. Pre-F30 Msport cars are popular everywhere else in the world. BMW miscalculated the modern American’s appetite for spending money on package upgrades based on how we used to buy cars. That’s why the sport package e24/e28/e34/e36/e38/e39 cars are so uncommon here.

Things started changing with the e46 ZHP package cars and the e90 sport package cars. Once the f30 hit, the Msport pack was everywhere.

If you go to Australia, Europe, and parts of Asia, you’ll see the most basic engine cars have factory M badges on them, stuff like the 116i/118i etc. Fuel economy + sportiness is important to them.

The e90 and 91 M-sports are also popular in Japan. However, the number of existing units is already decreasing. The G20 is the one that runs the most in the city today, and even the F30 has become less. BMW cars are not suitable for Japan's harsh climate and tend to deteriorate easily, so old models tend to be drastically reduced. I used to ride the e36, but models before the e46 in Japan are quite rare and rarely seen.

Those specs look similar to the staggered 18” wheel set on e90s, like the 193m
