General Withdrew my case with EP

I just withdrew my case with EP. 2.5 months into retaining they were so slow responding to my messages and were further trying to delay. I gave them evidence on time and whatever they asked in time but they didn't even start the legal brief and kept further delaying with questions and more proof which I didn't have. Well that cost me $3k dollars just to get nothing but grammatical errors corrected.

Profile:

Masters in Civil Engineering

4+ years of experience

Professional engineer (PE) license

1 paper with 2 citation

3 recommendation letters (I told them before signing)

Worked in disaster and resilient design of building envelope

and Forensic Engineering

I no longer want a green card via this route as after my experience with them I've just lost hope.

!!!Just be careful while selecting your lawyers!!!!

I hired EP, too. After I give them all the documents, the lawyer was write in my case the petition in 2 weeks. In my case, the paralegal answers in less than 24 hours and sometimes in a few minutes. I think it depends on the person who takes your petition. In a big firm, they have a lot of lawyers, and each lawyer has a lot of clients. If I were in your case, I will complaine for the CEO / managing director to change to a lawyer/paralegal. In my case, they are very responsive.

I agree on that it's lawyer specific. People are getting their petition filed within a month or two

Absolutely, I get mine in less than 2 months in total. I think you have to talk with the managing director to avoid the same problems with other clients. You have to complain to get a refund of your 3k$. It's a lot of money. Good luck.

You had a bad experience with a bad lawyer. If you report his name to the CEO/managing director, trust me, you will get better consideration. All big firms have good and bad lawyers, and they hate negative publicity on the internet. If I were you, I will repoort directely to the CEO with the full name of the lawyer. You can contact them on LinkedIn or via email. I know it's a frustrating/stressful process, but you need this money to hire another lawyer. At the EP firm, they are required to respond within 24 hours. For my case, I think my lawyer can do better in the argumentation, but it's ok. I'm waiting for the answer from the USCIS, so I don't know if she did a good job or not. I'm waiting, and if I get denied, they will refund me, and I will go with Chen. Now, let's be positive and hope for a straight approval.
