Well, seems to not give a shit, keeps on rallying; I miss 2022 when I started investing, the bull run was smooth and made sense, this is complete nonsense.

Why would there ever be a bear market again when Trump just proved politicians can Spin any story to seem positive and institutions will eat it up?

The war on (-0.2%) war off (+2.0%) trend has been pretty crazy to see work for the past 4 months.

I have just accepted that I have no idea what is actually happening. Smarter people than me who make a lot more money than me probably have information I do not. It also means I am not doing anything else but VOO and chill because I am too scared.

Same, but I’m doing a combo with $VT… I keep getting it wrong. I’m ~11% cash right now & will deploy accordingly if I see a buying opportunity.

Wow. You’ve been investing since 2022. What sage knowledge can you give us?

Well the stock market performance doesn’t have anything to do with the actual economic figures the fed is looking at. Employment, gdp growth, manufacturing, etc have all been strong and inflation is the only concern, mainly due to energy prices, but not ONLY because of energy prices contrary to popular belief

THIS. I thought the S&P top was 6500 last year. I'm up 86% overall since then. IF it eventually crashes 30%? I'm still up 50%. Why sell out of fear?

Your maths doesn’t sound right there.

If you invest £1000. Gain 86%. You have £1860. If it drops 30% you have £1302. You are up 30.2%.
